Devotional

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has
gone, the new has come!
(2 Cor 5:17).

A mulligan is a golf term which allows a player to play a second shot
off the first tee if the first shot is poor. It's a second chance to get a fresh
start without penalty.

Sometimes in life we need a mulligan - a new start. Christ represents
the invitation to throw away our first life and begin anew with Him as a new
creation
."

Boy is this ever true. For those that have read some of my testimony's I'm sure you have seen how hubby, J and I are all new creations. Our lives took a 180 degree turn for the good! For those that say how do we know, well that is how. Our lives change for the better. Sure we have our draw backs, but for the most part, life is so much better. Of course until they have given themselves to the Lord and had the experience, it is hard to explain it.

Any way, at Prime Time With God the rest of the message is so very good. I really like their devotionals. Always packed with good meaning.

Money Matters

Today's Crosswalk for women has a great message on money matters. God's timing is amazing. My husband & I were just talking about the economy last night. Many are fretting and thinking we are in a serious depression. Well, if we look back into the 40's & 50's, we are nothing like it was then. We are just so used to having so much. If we talk to those that went through the great depression, they will tell you that we are a lucky people. That is here in the U.S. There are countries that are suffering.

Anyway, the article talks about with all the layoffs, money being tight for many, some wondering what they are going to do, we need to remember to turn to God. He always provides. He never gives us more than we can handle. His messages are for a reason. I like this scripture: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18

The article is good. You can go here to read the full message. Just scroll the radio bar to finances and click on "Trusting God When Money Seems Scarce." You can also sign up for the womens e-mail messages along with others.
God Bless you always. P.U.S.H.
