New Blog/Explanation

First off, I would like to introduce you to a new blog. He is a rededicated Christian that has started his own Christian blog. You can go here to visit. He won't be posting every day, only when inspired, but can guarantee you it will be good content.

Also, I've been busy helping my daughter move from a tiny apartment with 7 in the family to a house. The yard had not been kept up there, so hubby & I have been working on that along with helping them move and helping with the kids. Thankfully the two boys are with their mother for now. The baby has been a bit sick as well which makes it even harder. We still have a ways to go, as we've been moving most of it with our van which takes a lot more time. Still a lot of packing to do, and then the cleaning. :( I'm not going to whine though, as they really needed to be in a bigger place.

This is why I have not been posting again. I so miss visiting everyone and conversing with you all, but this is important right now and is where I need to be. By the time we get home at night, I'm whooped and just crash after eating and showering. So I don't even get on here. I hope to be back in the saddle here real soon. I'm sure the rest of this week is going to consist of packing, hauling, and cleaning, so please don't give up on me. I miss and love you all. Hope this finds everyone doing well and happy. I do try to check my mail every other day at least, so if you want to e-mail me, please do. tejrej@gmail.com Would love to hear from you and I do answer my e-mails. ;) So hope to see you all back here soon. I will get on if I get a chance. The only reason for being able to this morning is because I have a chiropractic appt. this morning. Thank heavens, as boy do I ever need that today. This is one time I'm looking forward to it. Hee hee.

You all have a blessed, beautiful week as you are all beautiful brothers and sisters! I have so much to share, I can't wait. So for now, I will leave you with a funny happening, or so we thought it was. Keep in mind, hubby and I have a weird sense of humor. ;)

It all started with "a" roll of toilet paper. Yes you read right. ;) I went to grab my pillow off the bed one night, as it was one of those couch nights cuz the feetzies were hurting and didn't want to keep hubby awake. I heard something hit the floor. Huh? What in the world was that. I take a glance and thought it was a ball, then thought, no, it couldn't be. So I look again and started to giggle, it was a roll of toilet paper.

The next morning, I look at hubby and say, "cute! Love the gift you left me last night and he smirked. So the next night, I find two under my pillow. So I thought okay, I'm going to get you good now. So I take a put one on the mouthwash bottle, q-tip holder, on top the closet door, behind a pair of pants hanging up above his shirts, two tucked under the bedspread next to his pillow, one in each leg of his jeans, and one in his underwear drawer, oh yeah, and one in his nose trimmers bin and one in his shaving kit.

So that night, I find one on each handle of my sink and I get the giggles. Mind you, it's midnight at this point, yes, sometimes I have a hard time going to sleep. So I hurry up and get out of there so as not to wake him. Then I go to get some juice out of the fridge and there is on in the refrigerator. I get to cracking up then. I go to bed--I am on a C-Pap machine for sleep apnea--and there is one on top of my mask. The next morning I find one in my underwear drawer. So then I'm thinking, my gosh, how many more am I going to find. Oh, and I had stuffed one in his laptop bag for work as well.

So the next day, after having found the T.P. in the fridge, I e-mail him: Love it! Fresh cool T.P. to wipe the tushy with. What a grand idea. I think I will share this. Can't wait to try it out.

So this was our way of letting go of stress. Huh, stress? What's that? ;) Actually, we have been working on not letting things get the best of us any more. It's not worth it, and God has always been good to us. Yes, we get handed our trials, but are equipped to know it's for a very good reason even though we may not like it most the time. :) So there you have it, a bit about what oddity we use to amuse ourselves. :O) CYA

Breaking Intimidation

I haven't gotten far into it, but sitting here listening to Jay talk about what he's listened to and all the struggles he recently went through, I just had to get word out about John Bevere's "Breaking Intimidation" set. As mentioned in my previous post, I had attended a small group that covered the book. It was great, as the book tells a lot. But...going through the DVD's and the work book brings about a whole new perspective. And like anything with me, repeating a series hits home stronger anyhow.

So if you haven't read the book or better yet gone through the series, I highly suggest you do. Just to touch on a little bit of it, it's breaking all those things in your life that hold you back from really experiencing God's love.

Letting Satan have authority is a huge mistake. Yet so many of us do it without realizing we are. For instance, fear. Fear is the work of the enemy. Break free from it! Also, Jay brought up a great point about asking the Lord to remove the enemy. Well, we need to do it. Remember as Jay was telling me John had commented, God gave us dominion over the demonic spirit. Meaning we need to tell them to leave. Bind them up and toss them out. Don't let them run amok in your life.

I hadn't told anyone this until sitting here discussing Johns series, and struggles. Jay had really hit a low, Satan had his grip on him, but GOD IS STRONGER. Praise the Lord! With prayer from many and best of all, God never giving up, he's back. It's been an interesting conversation with him this evening. I've learned more from his questions and was able to help him with many of the questions, and those with no answer, we both knew, get on our knees and ask.

But the biggest break through was his listening with hubby this morning to John. I'm so thrilled with God's timing. Anyway, back to what I hadn't never told anyone. It scared me, but now I know I'm okay and what to do. The beginning of this year while watching the Passion of Christ again--which is one of our new traditions--for the first time I saw Satan in the back ground. I never noticed him before in many of the shots. It freaked me out and made me very uneasy. The past two months I've been seeing that face a lot. I've been worrying more and more about the grand kids, seeing things that aren't there. I was literally allowing the enemy to drive me crazy.

I would cry out, Lord, help me, take the devil away. I would yell, "Satan, your a liar, leave me alone for I am a daughter of the Lord, you are not welcome here," but would still feel heavy and uneasy. The turning point came when I decided to volunteer again despite the pain I was experiencing. All of a sudden the heaviness lifted bit by bit. It has been two months since I've been able to see Jesus' sweet face, I can again! How I've missed that connection with him. I would be worshipping in church trying to see Him and would start to get a glimpse and then I would get this ugly distorted blah. The light is shining through again! Gone is the darkness. I have the tools. We ALL have the tools because our Daddy gave them to us and we need to make use of them.

Tell the enemy to leave. Demand the enemy to leave. Believe in yourself. Believe in God. Trust in Him. Don't let darkness in. Only allow the light of our Heavenly Father to shine through.

Well I hope this all made sense. I just let my mind go and my fingers run here, so it may be jumbled. I hope and pray it all makes sense, as it's a good message I'm trying to get across. I've learned that the best thing we can do is share our experiences, especially our trials and tribulations, as often times He puts us through them in order to help others or save others. Just like the woman that helped me by sharing what she had experienced. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.

Ahhhh, it feels sooooo good to be filled to overflowing again. To feel the Holy Spirit working again, to feel the electricity flowing in our family once again. To hear that He is working in others, to share, to be alive. To be able to walk in the church--our family--with the light shining and hopefully help others whose light isn't strong. After all, aren't we suppose to be sharing the light of the Lord? :) God Be with you all. May His light shine brightly in your lives. Kick those demons out. Live free of the bondage. Live free of Intimidation. Read and listen to John Bevere's "Breaking Intimidation." Thank You Lord for all the wonderful people you place in our lives at the right time! Your timing is always perfect! Amen!!!

God is Good

Wow! What a week it's been. So much to share. Where to begin. Transformation is taking place, and I'm loving it!!! Because of all that's been happening, I've been absent from here once again and apologize. I know "protocol" is that we should post daily. I want to truly do that, and do try, but sometimes He has other plans for us. I have a lot of material I want to share, so be aware, there may be multiple posts at times, so bear with me. :)

It all started last Sunday night. We had VBS camp going on for the kids. I took my two grand daughters and decided on the way to volunteer if they needed anyone else. Well, God's timing as always was perfect. One of the Pastors wives was leading the craft room and was needing help. She is a wonderful person, and I'm always excited to share time with her. We had a good time. It was exciting to see the kids having fun. Some of them came up with some beautiful creations. Of course there were rough times as well.

During those three evenings, I had time to talk with JD. She prayed for healing over me and renounced the doctor saying there was no reversal in my feet. My feet I thought sure would keep me up every night, but Praise God, they were not bad at all the first two nights. Amazing!!! The third night they were burning and I couldn't wait to get off my feet. That evening she shared something with me that I've been wanting to share with all of you. It makes perfect sense.

Praying for healing is good and we need to continue that, but keep in mind, healing is a "process." Hmmm, makes sense. See she has gone through a lot herself. During her struggles it came to her about healing being a process. What she needed was a miracle. A miracle is "spontaneous." Aha! Wow, now that really makes sense. So pray for healing, but also ask for a miracle. You may not get it right away, but patience is something He really wants for us to have as well. Remember, every thing is by His time. So the next day I prayed for healing and a miracle. Nothing happened, instead, I grew a knot between the toe joints and pad of my left foot. I couldn't even step down on it.

Of course my first thought was, "Why Lord?!" Then I went about my day taking it very easy, walking on the side or heal of my foot. Try picturing that one. Ha ha. Yeah, it was no fun and not an easy task. I thought great, now what am I going to do? What's next? I was bummed. The next day was back to normal almost. Praise the Lord, I could feel Him working in me. I just needed to be "patient." The girls had spent the night that night and had a friend with them. All the next day we had fun together, I even got in the pool with them for a little bit. This was this past Sat. That night I took the kids home and our daughter asked me to stay and watch a movie with them. I didn't want to as I was tired and new I had to be up for church the next morning. I was bummed for having missed that night, as we had a guest speaker, more on that shortly. So I stayed. I left there feeling a bit down and worried about the kids again and our daughter. I was down seeing how their lives were going.

So on the way, I prayed a whole hearted prayer for them. Something I've been lacking in lately. Praying out of habit instead of from the complete heart. Said huh? Rotten, ugly rut to get into. Prayers aren't going to be answered that way. So I completed my prayer session and Amen. Then it hit me, "Father, I need a miracle. You know all about my feet and how frustrating it is. I'm begging you for a miracle and healing. Please daddy, take the pain from my feet so that I can continue to do the work you so desire for me to do. Take it now. Please Father, I'm asking you for a miracle. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."

Well you'll never believe it. I woke up Sunday morning pain free!!! Can you believe it. I know you can. My feet felt the best they have felt in a long time. The numbness was still there, but the pain was gone, I could walk normal. Praise God!!! I just wanted to stand on the roof tops and shout the greatness of God. I wanted to dance. The song was back in my heart. I praised and thanked Him all day. I was shining with the light of the Lord that morning when I went to church.

To top the day off, John Bevere was our guest speaker!!! What an awesome speaker he is too. He and Lisa both are amazing God driven people. I could listen to them all the time. Sat. night I missed his message on "Breaking Intimidation." I had attended a small group for that book. It is a great read. If you haven't read it yet, please do. Hubby bought the pack, CD's, DVD's, work book and book. So we are going to do it as a family.

Sunday, he spoke on his new series "Honor's Reward." Wow! What a message that was. I would have loved it if he could have covered the whole series that day. Talk about being filled, it was a God filled day for sure. So hubby bought that set as well. I can't wait to delve into that one. Hubby has watched all but one video already. :)

I pray John and Lisa come back again soon. We have a lot of their materials, and I want to get more. They speak in a manner that anyone can understand and are able to drive the points home. My hunger and thirst are back full force now. I hate it when those straying times hit, but at the same time am beginning to realize that often times they happen for a reason, as it's a process to shake us up and wake us up.

For a while now I thought I was under constant attack by the enemy. Then came to realize that I was going through a trial. It was the Lord trying to get my attention. Discernment is so vital, and sometimes it can be right under our noses, but we still get it confused. Of course the enemy loves to use these moments to continue and worsen the confusion. I accept my trials, for none could be so bad as what Jesus had endured for us. So I pick up my cross, more than happy to carry it. Will you join me? Hopefully you've been carrying yours all along, but if not, how about picking yours up too! Let's walk in union with the Lord our savior. Amen!

Father, we come to you with great joy for all that you do in our lives. You are truly and amazing God. A God of all gods. The Almighty, the Alpha and Omega. The healer of healers, the Loving God that sees and knows all and holds His arms wide open to take us in. Thank you Daddy for always being there no matter what, ready to forgive and hold us tight. What an awesome Father you truly are.
Father, we ask that you fill each and everyone of us with the Holy Spirit, so that we may be guided to fill the tasks you have for us. So that we may live in a righteous manner that will show others your light and lead the lost to you. So that we may help bring your lost sheep home. So that we may share Your love with others. Teach us to be kind and loving like you. Fill not only our hearts but our souls as well. I pray for anointing over each blessing you have placed in my life father. For you have truly sent some wonderful brothers and sisters my way. I thank you for that gift daddy. Touch each of their hearts and souls and make them whole. Take away any pain or suffering they and their loved ones may be enduring at this moment. We readily accept your trials in our lives, as we know they are there to teach us, to make us stronger, and to draw us nearer to you. For that, we are eternally grateful. I ask that this be sealed in Jesus sweet name. Amen.
Have a truly blessed week everyone. I've missed you all.

Showing Gratitude: It's So Easy

Apparently a gentleman in Seattle came up with the idea to do the following to show your gratitude to our troops. It's awesome, as there's been times I know I've wanted to show them somehow. This is a great and simple idea. Just watch the video and spread the love!

Abuse or Love: You decide!

It is always good to see pictures like these.
Proof of abuse by our Troops?

Armed American Troops force Iraqi's to seesaw until they talk!

Iraqi child bites GI in self defense after obvious torture!
GI overheard to say, "Talk or I'll tickle you until you pee."
More evidence of failed US intelligence policy.
Soldier attempts to eat Iraqi child.

Clear evidence of forced labor by troops!

Soldier caught at tickle torture to extract evidence.

GI forces Iraqi child to hang by fingertips.

No comment here. There is nothing funny about this one.
May the Good Lord Bless everyone of our Troops wherever they are.

I would like for anyone willing to display this to please add it to your blog, e-mail, or whatever you do to keep this passed on to all you know, for we don't all have the same followers. It's a great message. Please make sure you add the following prayer wheel and prayer as well.
God Bless!

coastguard and airmen...
Please don't break it.

Dear Heavenly Father
Hold our troops in Your loving hands.

Sheep or Lion?

I've been listening to a pod cast from Focus on the Family. Their guest speaker being comedian Ken Davis. His message was on "super sheep." It was funny, but at the same time really got the point across. I haven't finished the message yet, but have gotten the jest of it.

Ken started out talking about how he can't stand sheep. They run funny, they're stupid, they just follow each other, they are dumb. The way he puts it is hilarious to hear him talk of it. If you get the chance go here and look for the pod cast with Ken Davis. You won't regret it.

Basically what I've gotten so far is it is talking about how he hated sheep. He went through the Bible looking for something better than being a stupid sheep following each other. He came across the word lion and looked it up in the Bible. He was excited, a lion, something that is strong, un-afraid. Hmmm, but was it a wise choice?

Know what the Bible says about a lion? 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

Be sober! Be on the alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.

Yikes, okay, maybe being a strong lion isn't so great.
Other Scriptures that mention the lion:
Genesis 49:9; Isaiah 11:7; Daniel 6:7; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelations 5:5

So what does the Bible have to say about sheep. I could say go check out the concordance in the back of your Bible, but I'll save you the task and share what I've found.

1 Kings 22:17
I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a Shepherd, and the Lord said, "They have no master; let everyone return home in peace."
Psalm 100:3
Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we are His--His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Isaiah 53:6
We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished Him for the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, He did not open His mouth.
Zechariah 13:7
Sword, away against My shepherd, against the man who is my associate--the declaration of the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will also turn My hand against the little ones.
Matthew 9:36
When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a Shepherd.
Matthew 25:32
All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
John 10:3-5
The door keeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought all his own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow him because they recognize his voice. 5 They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don't recognize the voice of a strangers.
John 10:15
This is given in part of the last one.
John 10:27
"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me."
John 21:17
He asked him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time, "Do you love Me?" He said, "Lord, You know everything! You know that I love you. "Feed My sheep," Jesus said.
Acts 8:32
Now the Scripture passage he was reading was this:
He was led like a sheep to the slaughter; and as a lamb is silent before it's shearer, so He does not open His mouth.

Now this one wasn't listed, but feel this is a very important part.
John 10:7-18
The Good Shepherd
7"So Jesus said again, "I assure you; I am the door of the sheep. 8All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn't listen to them. 9I am the door. If anyone enters by Me he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance.
11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12The hired man, since he is not the shepherd and doesn't own the sheep, leaves them and runs away when he sees a wolf coming. The wolf then snatches and scatters them. 13This happens; because his is a hired man and doesn't care about the sheep.
14I am the good shepherd. I know My own sheep, and they know Me. 15as the Father knows Me, and I know the Father. I lay down My life for the sheep. 16But I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17This is why the Father loves Me, because I am laying down My life so I may take it up again. 18No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the right to lay it down, and I have the right to take it up again. I have received this command from My Father."

I have not yet finished that podcast, and I'm sure the message is strong. But from I've listened to so far, it still has an important message. So which do you want to be, the Sheep that hears his Shepherds voice, or the lion, on the prowl un-afraid of anything, waiting to devour?

Father, You are so glorious, so mighty, so loving. We thank You for all that You bestow upon us and for sacrificing Your Son for our sins. We gratefully accept Your trials you bring us to, as we understand You are using those situations to teach, to lead, and to guide us closer to You! Jesus bring the rain. Draw me closer to You.
Father fill us with the Holy Spirit to guide us and to us the Lords words. Help us to become the sheep that hears His voice, that knows only the voice of our Shepherd. So that we may not be led astray and scattered by the wolves howling at our gates. May we only enter through the gate of our great Shepherd.
Thank you Father God. God of God's, King of Kings. The one and only Almighty. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen!

Just to Let You Know

Just to let you know, hubby and I are off on another quick trip to San Diego and back. Don't know if I'll get a chance to get on here. Am going to try to find time to visit as many blogs as possible today. Made it to a couple. But gotta run. Lots on my list of to do things today. Agghhhh. ;) Have a beautiful, wonderful, blessed, safe 4th of July weekend! Love you all!

ABC's of Kittydom

I just had to join in on this meme I found at Show My Face. You can check it out here.

It’s the ABC’s of Kittydom on first Fursday. Yes, I’m still a kid at heart, love animals and have a cat. ;)

A-Amanda was my first human mom. She was the sweetie that brought me home when I was old enough to leave my mom. She snuck me home and grandma and grandpa didn’t know for a couple weeks! Whew!!!

B-birds and Bells, oh how I so want to get out there and catch me some birds!!! Belle is my name and grandma just had to get me a collar with a bell on it. Hiss hiss

C-Cutie, grandma and grandpa laugh at me all the time thinking I’m such a cutie, gotta love ‘em.

D-Dog, thank heavens there’s none here, but grandma allows the neighbors BIG dog in once in awhile, makes me fur stand on end just thinking about it. :{

E-excellent life not having to do anything but lay around, act interested, be fed, and loved when I want it.

F-Fun, why is it humans think that all we are there for is to have fun with us when they want to. Ha, it’s on my time only!

G-Gorgeous…oh yes, that’s what I am. And grandma and grandpa, have to mention them as they now own me thankfully, as mom has way too many kids running around and way too small of a place to where I wouldn’t be able to hide. Thank you grandpa and grandma, you two rock! Oops, did I say that. Well gotta keep them thinking they are okay.

H-Hairball, why do we cat’s have to deal with them darned things? I mean come on. Could you see a human trying to hack one up? I guess that’s why we have them, they would make a big spectacle out of it.

I-Ignore is what I love to do when I don’t feel like being bothered. I think the humans are catching on. ;}

J-Jabber is what those darned pesky dogs all around us do. I mean come on, don’t you have better things to do than bark, bark, bark? Geesh!

K-kitten, there are none around here anymore, but grandma, grandpa, and uncle JJ keep saying I still act like one a lot. :0} So guess that means, I still got it!

L-Love is so abundant here. I hate to admit it, but my humans can be very loving.

M-mice, okay grandma and grandpa, how come I only get those stupid toy mice? You bring it home, I get excited only to find out it’s fake. Hmph. I want a real mouse!!!

N-nice is what the grandkids think they are. Augh, keep them away…okay, okay, the older ones aren’t so bad anymore.

O-older, I’m getting older. I’m already 10 years old, okay, 70 if you want to get technical. But I sure feel a whole lot younger, well unless I want to use the whole age thing to my advantage. Course I’d never play that card. ;}

P-paws. How come we have to have paws and not hands? I mean come on, just once I would love to have fingers…

Q-queen that I am around here. I run the household! I am the Queen Bee around here. :0}

R-rest, I need lots of it, and please don’t even think about disturbing me, or I will give you one of my evil-eye looks.

S-sneaky-hee hee, oh yeah, I love to sneak up on them humans and watch them jump trying not to step on me. I’m getting real good at it too.

T-time lots of time to do whatever I feel like doing. No appointments, no chores, no datelines. Ahhhh yes, now this is the life!!!

U-underrated. We cats do not get the credit we so deserve. Why do so many hate us. I mean come on now. We make much better lap pets than dogs do. We don’t come up to you and slobber all over you or lift our leg on you….

V-very gorgeous, did I mention that before? Oh yeah, grandma tells me so.

W-well adjusted to my area. I love where I am, and don’t no one come and try to change that.

X-xray, yup, had em before. Didn’t like it, but I guess it was to help me get better. I mean after all, what are you suppose to do, bite and run like crazy? Yeah like that’s going to happen.

Y-yellow is one of my favorite colors even though I can’t tell one color from the next. I mean after all we were given the ability to only see black and white. How mean was that? But yellow I can see better and can catch that yellow yarn pretty darned fast.

Z-zealous is what I am. They love me!

Oops, gotta run, I think I hear grandma coming. Remember, I'm sneaky! I have to keep my reputation after all, donchya know?

How about playing a long! Even if you don't have a cat, you can put in your own quips. ;)
