Words Given

I love hearing the voice of God. Learning more and more to wait upon His voice. Impatience doesn't cut it when you need to hear from Him.

This morning while driving back home after dropping my grand daughters off at school; I was thinking of how often times I become crabby. I don't like being that way. Getting upset with drivers that take chances drives me nuts. Why? So I started to pray. During that time, I said, "Lord, I want so much to be more Christ Like." I got the image that I often do of Christ walking among the people filled with the Fruit of the Spirit. How loving and caring He was. How gentle He was.

Then I said, "It's so hard being a human at times." He spoke to me and said, "It wasn't meant to be easy for you. You have to be strong and fight."

I contemplated those words then it hit me. If it was easy for us, we would become weak. If we become weak, we are sitting ducks for the enemy to come in and steal our souls. We were meant to be warriors, not weaklings letting life take control of us. We need to stand strong and fight for what we believe in.

How do we gather more strength? By reading the Word daily. Believing what it says, and speaking it out. By praying daily. If we ignore the message that He gave us through the prophets, if we don't pray, we are missing out on what God has planned for us. We can't grow in strength if we don't get filled with His Word. We can't expect help if we don't cry out to Him.

Yes, He knows our every need, but He wants us to have a close relationship with Him. He wants us to come to Him with our needs. Cry out to Jesus. Let Him know what is on your mind, what is on your heart and let Him be your guide.

I've learnt over and over again, that we "cannot" do it on our own. When we let God, life is so much better. When we try to do it on our own, life becomes a mess. I've caught myself thinking, "why is everything so chaotic again. Good grief, isn't this enough?" Then I stop and realize, I've been trying to do it all on my own. I've been trying to fix all the problems and not handing it up to Him. When I let go of the mess and say, "Lord, I thank You that You have a hand in this situation. I thank You that You are in control, for I am unable to deal with this," everything starts to settle down. The stress level lessens greatly, I can think again, and can function as one should.

So with all that said, I'll leave you with some Scriptures.

2 Chronicles 7:13-14: If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Psalm 121: I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. 4 Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. 5 The Lord protects you; the Lord is a shelter right by your side. 6 The sun will not strike you by day, or the moon by night. 7 The Lord will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. 8 The Lord will protect your coming and going both now and forever.

Psalm 6:9-10: The Lord has heard my plea for help; the Lord accepts my prayer. 10 All my enemies will be ashamed and shake with terror; they will turn back and suddenly be disgraced.

Matthew 10: 32-39: "Therefore, everyone who will acknowledge Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. 34 Don't assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to turn a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36 and a man's enemies will be the members of his household. 37 The person who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; the person who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And whoever doesn't take up hos cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. 39 Anyone finding his life will lose it, and anyone losing his life because of Me will find it.

Matthew 17:20-21: "Because of your little faith," He told them. "For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting."

Luke 11:1-4: He was praying in a certain place, and when He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples." 2 He said to them, "Whenever you pray, say:
Father,
Your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come.
3 Give us this day our daily bread. 4 Forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves also forgive everyone in dept to us.
And do not bring us into temptation. (CBSV) (Remember, Luke was different with the Lords prayer than Matthew.)

Luke 22:32: But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.

Romans 8:26: In the same way the Spirit also joins to help in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groaning's.

Romans 12:12: Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-22: Rejoice always!
17 Pray constantly.
18 Given thanks in everything.
19 Don't stifle the Spirit.
20 Don't despise prophecies,
21 but test all things. Hold on to what is good.
22 Stay away from every form of evil.

Isaiah 56:7: I will bring them to My holy mountain and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar, for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.

Philippians 4:6-7: Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Wise Teaching

Today I learnt something very important. I don't know how many of you have read and/or heard John or Lisa Bevere teachings. Wow! Wow! Wow! Talk about two people totally annointed by the Lord and so willing to serve. Those two are completely dedicated and God is speaking through them.

I had mentioned that John recently visited our church and spoke. It was awesome. I missed the night he spoke on his program "Breaking Intimidation." I was bummed to have missed that one. The following day was on "Honors Reward." That was awesome. So now I am going through a small group studying the Breaking Intimidation Series. I had attended one before, but we did not do the work book nor the DVD's. Reading was amazing and inspiring, but listening to and watching his passion in the subject is just WOW! I don't know how else to say it.

So there is one thing in particular that hit me. All these years, I thought it was the wrath of God when destruction hit. I thought it was the wrath of God saying, "Hey you fools, wake up." But I could never understand why He would do it to the innocent too. I knew there was no way "all" those people were evil and sinning that bad. John put it into perspective. It all makes sense. I picked this particular one out, as it is a good start to "Breaking Intimidation" by understanding this tid bit. I would love to share so much more of the book, but do not want to ruin it before you have the chance to read and listen yourselves. You will get so much more out of it. I may give a tidbit each week, we'll see. ;)

The message: Think back to the very begining of creation when God created Adam and Eve. Who did He put in charge of earth? Adam. Who did he say to make sure that the fruit of knowledge tree was not to be eaten from? Adam. Yes, Eve as well, but Adam was placed in charge. Eve was tempted and took the fruit to Adam. Adam should have said no. Then what happens? Havoc is unleashed sin Adam had given into Satan. Adam gave his "authority" to Satan.

In The Garden of Eden, it was peaceful and beautiful. When Adam sinned and lost his authority, snakes started to bite, lions started to attack, disasters began happening. So the next time a disaster strikes, don't get upset with God. Remind yourself, Adam is the one responsible for the acts. We need to keep our strength in the Lord, remember that Jesus came to earth to save it and take back the authority over the earth.

So let's all stand in agreement to walk with the Lord, to walk in His word, to live by His word, and not give up our authority to Satan. He so wants to gain it back from us. Imagine the destruction if we all started allowing him to break us down. Love the Lord with all your heart, READ the word daily, and get on your knees and pray.

Keep the Fruit of the Spirit and live by it, wear your armor of God. Fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Gal. 5:22.

I am going to leave you with some scriptures to read: Gen. 1:26, 3:17-19,21, 9:2, Ps 18:19, 26:12, 91:1, Isa. 65:25, 12:14, 43:25-26, Mat. 1:23, 28:18-20, Mark 4:4, Luke 4:6, 5:20-24, 10:19, Acts 1:16-17, 1:20, 5:20-24 Rom. 8:20, Eph. 1:19-20, 2:2,6, 4:27, 2 Sam. 8-18, 12:13

Now keep in mind, this isn't the exact words that John Bevere spoke. His way of saying it all was so powerful. The best thing to do is get the set and sit down and really listen and take notes! God Bless!

Trinity/Trinitarian

A wonderful blogger buddy asked a good question, one that confuses many. I was confused for a while as well. The question was: Is the word Trinitarian a word, and what is the trinity? Is God one God or is He more than one? (Mind you, this isn't the exact wording, but pretty much what was asked.)
Although the Bible does not say Trinity or Trinitarian in it, it is in fact a real word. You can find it listed in the Websters Dictionary and Wikipedia. That's as far as I had gotten when searching. But for me that was enough proof.
Hank Hanegraff has a great book out. "The Complete Bible Answer Book. Collectors Edition." Now granted there are many that do not like him very well, but he answers so many questions and this book is so helpful. I am not going to write word for word what he has written on this subject, but enough to make a point.
First of all, in the Bible in Genesis 1:26 the first example of where the idea "trinity" came from.

"God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." Notice the use of us and our. This implies that God is making a reference to others. Now we all know there is only one God.
Hank writes:
"The word "Trinity"--like "incarnation"--is not found in Scripture; however, it
aptly codifies what God has condescended t reveal to us about this nature and
being. In short, the Trinitarian platform contains three planks (1) there is but
one God; (2) the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God; (3)
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are eternally distinct." (Hanegraff, H. 1984)
Then he goes on to talk about the three planks to this. One being that it is stated that there is only one God. The second that there are many passages that mention the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He also stated:

"The apostle Paul says that, 'there is but one God the Father'
(1 Corinthians 8:6). The Father, speaking of the Son, says, 'Your throne, O God,
will last forever" (Hebrews 1:8). And when Ananias 'lied to the Holy Spirit,'
Peter points out that he had 'not lied to men but to God (Acts 5:3-4)." (Hanegraff, H. 1984)
Third, "the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are eternally distinct." Throughout the Scriptures, there is plenty that shows the distinct relationships between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. An example that Hank uses:
"The Father and Son love one another, speak to each other, (John 17:1-26), and
together send the Holy Spirit (John 15:26). Additionally, Jesus proclaims that
he and the Father are two distinct witnesses and two distinct judges (John
8:14-18). If Jesus were himself the Father, his argument would have been not
only irrelevant but also fatally flawed; and if such were the case, he could not
have been fully God." Hanegraff, H. 1984)
This paragraph speaks a lot:

"It is important to note that when Trinitarians speak of one God they are
referring to the nature or essence of God. Moreover, when they speak of persons
they are referring to personal self-distinctions within the God head. Put
another way, we believe in one What and three Who's." (Hanegraff, H. 1984)

All throughout the Bible, it does talk about God as one as a central part. But
it also that God is "eternally three distinct persons," those being the Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. (This paragraph and the next are not part of the quotes, but will not go back to regular left margin alignment. This is one problem I have with this program. If anyone knows how to fix it, please share for further posts. Thanks)

If you look at the Concordance under God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. There are many scriptures that speak of them--not necessarily all three at one time--but of them being as one.

One example: Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit," as quoted from Hanks book.
Hank listed areas to look further to back this up.
"James R. White, The Forgotten Trinity (Minneapolis: Bethany House, 2001), and
Robert Letham, The Holy Trinity: In Scripture, History, Theology, and Worship
(Phillipsburg, New Jersey; P&R Publishing, 2004)." (Hanegraff, H. 1984)
If anyone has anything to add, please add in your comments and add permission to use if you don't mind it being added to here. Hope this is of some help.
One thing to keep in mind, you are going to find different view points, as there are different beliefs. There are some religions that don't follow the Holy Bible, instead have a Bible designed to follow their beliefs. I'm a Christian, and we do believe in the trinity/triunity. I grew up a Catholic being taught the same thing.
When I first came back to the Lord, I was confused by the whole concept. During my childhood days, I had misunderstood the whole idea. It took quite some time for me to realize that in fact God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in fact were one, but three persons in one. I had a hard time understanding how that could work since Jesus had been born through Mary. That is where my whole confusion came in. But now the more I read, the more I understand for the most part.
The way I look at it, and this is may be the wrong perspective to have, but we were not made to understand the whole Bible, but to live by what we learn from it. We can argue all we want as to what is right and wrong with things that are not clearly explained, such as the trinity, since it is not found in the Bible. Instead, it's the concept that has been taken from what is read in the Bible. As we read it, it seems that the three are a triunity. But there are those gray areas too that confuse us. We may never know the truth, but instead, go with your heart, what does God tell you? I asked, He gave me what I've found. I'll follow that. For He alone has all the answers. I figure when we get to Heaven, that's when we will know the facts. For now, what He tells me and teaches me, I'll believe, as I trust in Him and believe Him wholeheartedly.
I will listen to those that are Godly people and be led as they are being led, but I will still talk to the Lord to be sure it's not the enemy taking control of their tongue (which is another subject for a near post). And so I will end here with my humble opinions and belief. I welcome a good hearty discussion on this subject. All I ask is there be no nasty comments with profanity. I will delete your comments if it is written in anger. Thank you and God Bless. Have beautifully blessed day. Happy Fathers Day to all you dads out there!!!

Thursdays Great Message

As always, Pastor Connie gave an awesome message again today. The videos of the messages are up and running now. Today's and last weeks is available for viewing now. You can watch the videos of the messages by clicking here. You won't be disappointed by what you hear. I wish the other days were up as well, as I had missed last weeks and the week before that. At least it's possible to catch up on one of the weeks. Yeah.

So here are some of the highlights. First Tracy, one of Pastors daughters talked about Psalm 33 and Philippians 4:8. I'll leave Psalms for you to read from your Bible, but I wanted to post Philippians, but take it a bit farther with vv. 4-9.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
5 Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
6 Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition whit thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable--if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise--dwell on these things.
9 Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Personally, I just love this one. It says so much. I've been dealing with trying to shed myself of so much worry. I know we aren't suppose to worry, and place it all in God's hands, but sometimes it's not so easy. But after today it has become much easier. Does it try to creep back in. Oh yeah, you better believe it. Satan will never give up trying. But that's okay, as I'm armed with the armor of God. I'm protected by His great love for me. God is so awesome.

So any way, the message was awesome. Here's just a few highlights to tease you with. Gen 1:27-28. Ps 103:1-5; Numbers 23:20; Pr 10:6; and Ps 105:8. Then from there, I messed up with the scriptures quoted and will have to take better notes when I listen to it again.

God placed Jesus in a kneeling position--a posture of worship.
God's blessings are not gifts, they are a benefit.
God will bless you until:
1. Bless your enemies. Start blessing those you are concerned about.
2. Bless the Lord. Ps 103:1-5
3. Bless the children and your home. Numbers 103:1-5
You can not curse what God has said. Intercede and call your family blessed. Do not use negativity, positiveness allows light and spirit.
4. Bless your circumstances and nut use them. What God has blessed, no one can curse.
To get immediate results, look for principles in the Bible that deals with your situation.
Ask God to increase your principles.

Then she went on to talk about the 14 Spirits of Evil. One being orphan mentality which is a spirit of jealousy. We all should be praying for the release of generational curses.

Col 3:3 Pray we are hidden in Christ; and Col 2:10 (Who are we in Christ?)
1. Righteousness is only found in Christ.
2. Everything you need is available for the taking. It's not what you bring to the Lord, it's what He does with you and letting Him do so.
3. Believe God loves you and affirms us--this will release you from abandonment. There are no second class citizens. We are all complete in Christ and we can relax. Live to please God and not people. You only live for the audience of one!
If you curse the journey it will be cursed; if you bless the journey, it will be blessed.
The spirit of jealousy may be what sent Jesus to the cross. None of us want to have any part of that.
A question that was asked of us: Are there people or circumstances/situations you should be blessing?

Now here is a story of God's true devotion to bringing us to Him.
A woman of the church was discussing scriptures with someone. Another woman not saved, not a Christian listened. She then asked the church woman if she would mind writing the scriptures down for her, as she may need them someday. One day when in the delivery room helping deliver a baby, the baby became stuck in the chamber. The baby turned blue. The doctor pronounced her dead. The nurse (non-believer) pointed her finger and said, "Nothing is impossible with God." Then continued reciting the scriptures. The baby is released, taken to the waiting incubator where the doctor pronounced the baby dead. The nurse placed her hands on the baby and continued to recite the scriptures. The baby started to breathe!!! The baby made it. Praise God! Hallelujah! The next day, the woman called the church woman and asked to be saved!!! Yes!

When listening to this, I had chills coursing throughout my body. I love hearing of this sort of thing. God is Good!

Now go watch the video. :) Tomorrow I will write a post of a revelation of a broken generational curse that I was not aware of at the time. God Bless you all. Have a wonderful, restful, peaceful night.

Tis the Season for Giving

At first I was going to do a segment on healing since I've been writing of hurts lately. But then the Lord spoke and said, "I'd rather you talk about giving. This time of year is my reminder for people to think of others rather than themselves." So today is all about giving.

It is a reminder that Christmas time is for giving. But should the giving be only this time of year? No, it is a time to remember that the Lord wants us to give at all times. Does it mean one has to spend money? No, giving of the "heart." For a gift given of the heart is much more meaningful.

Christmas time all too often the true meaning of giving is lost. The amount of a gift is often looked at versus whether or not it came from the heart. The commercialism has taken over the true meaning of Christmas. We have become a people of greed instead a people of blessings, giving, and most importantly the celebration of Christ.

I'm going to give a few scriptures on giving that have touched me, and I hope it does the same for you.

"If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thristy, give him water to drink; and the Lord will reward you." Proverbs 25:21

Some would say, "Why would we give to an enemy?" Because your enemies are the ones in need of being saved. We must show the heart of the Lord in order for them to seek Him.

7"Each person should do as he has decided in his heart--not out of regret or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having, everything you need, you may excel in every good work. 9 As it is written: He has scattered;
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.
10Now the One who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your reighteousness, 11as you are enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us. 12For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. 13Through the proof of this service, they will glorify God for your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with others. 14And in their prayers for you they will have deep affection for you because of the surpassing grace of God on you. 15Thanks be to God for His indescribbable gift." Corinthians 9:7-15

I like this one, as many times I get a weird look when someone asks me what I would like for Christmas. My reply is for people to remember the real meaning of Christmas, for peace on Earth, for health and happiness and my family to be together. I then say I like to give rather than receive. I admit, there was a time that I loved to receive too, but loved to give also. Now, I just like to give. This next scripture says it well.

35"In every way I've shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Acts 20:35

This next one says it well:

16"A gift opens doors for a man and brings him before the great." Proverbs 18:16

I like this last one, as it tells us that by giving, we are opening a door for them to go before the Lord. Our giving to others, not just a boughten gift, but a gift of Love can open their eyes, ears and soul to the Lord. So the next time you are thinking of a gift, don't think about how big it is, if it is going to be the "best" gift, if it is going to be the most "expensive" gift, or if it is going to be the gift that outshines everyone elses; instead, ask yourself if it is the gift the Lord wants you to give? Is it a gift that is going to benefit the receiver?

Some helpful thoughts: When we see a person on a street corner with their signs reading they need help, do we look the other way, or do we do what ever we can to help? What would the Lord want? It doesn't matter what you may think of them. All too often we think they are just looking for another handout, or money for their next bottle, or drugs. Have you ever asked yourself, what if that was me? What if by my giving and silently praying for this person they will be saved? The gift of giving can do so much.

When you see a person alone and down, do we just walk by them shaking our heads, thinking poor soul; or do we stop and say hello with a kind, warm smile? Sharing our hearts with others can open so many doors for those people. I met a sweet older woman when I was helping out my sister at her work. She used a walker to get around. She always had a cheery disposition, always a smile for you and kind words. She wasn't afraid to quote some scriptures or pass on some God given advice. This women was a giver of the Lord. She touched my heart deeply.

She went beyond that. There was a day she was out walking--which she done daily--when she came upon a group of gang members. She didn't bulk, she smiled and waited to cross the street. These young men stepped out into the street and stopped traffic for her, and helped her across the street. She thanked them and told them God loves them. They have not been seen in their gang garb since and gone straight. How awesome is that.

The gift of giving. It can go so far.

May the Lord Bless you all abundantly and give you the heart of giving. Amen

Where to Look When:

I like to collect Christian book marks and wallet sized cards with great sayings or helpful resources. I thought I would share one of those this evening. This particular book mark is one with scripture references on where to look for certian happenings in ones life. I'm taking the scripture readings out of the NKJV. Some scriptures are too long to print here. They are still very good resources to read.

Where to Look When:

You are weary; read Psalm 95:1-7

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His prescence with thanksgiving. Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.

In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.

The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

Oh come, let us worship and bown down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For He is our God, And we are His people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.

You Seem too Busy: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

To everyone there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;

A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;

A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain form embracing;

A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;

A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;

A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.

What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?

I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

I know that nthign is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,

and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor--it is the gift of God.

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. god does it, that men should fear before Him.

That which is has already been, and what is to be has alredy been; and God requires an account of what is past.

You Can't Sleep: Psalm 4, 56, 130

4
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

How long, O you sons of men, will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood? Selah

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; the Lord will hear twhen I call to Him.

Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within yhour heart on your bed, and be still. Selah

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.

There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?" Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.

You have put gladness in my heart, morethatn in the season that theri grain and wine increased.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep for You alone, O Lord, make me swell in safety.

56
Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; fighting all day he oppresses me.

My enemies would hound me all day, for there are many who fight aginst me, O Most High.

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

In God (I will prasie His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

All day they twist my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

They gather together, they hide, they mark my steps, when they lie in wait for my life.

Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the pebbles, O God!

You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are tehy not in Your book?

When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me.

In God (I will praise His word), In the Lord (I will praise His word),

In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do tto me?

Vows made to you are finding upon me, O God; I will render praises to you,

For You have delivered my sould from death. Have you not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living?

130
Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;

Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my sould waits, and in His word I do hope.

My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning--Yes, moe than those who watch the morning.

O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.

And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

When You are Tempted: James 1
I'll leave you to go read this one on your own since it is a longer scripture.

When Friends Disappoint You: 1 Corinthians 13
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowldedge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but havenot love, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

does not reject in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it iwll vanish away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, loe, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Our Pastor's son spoke of the unfailing love of the Lord last night. It was an awesome message. You can go here to listen and/or watch the message.

When Business is Poor: Ecclesiastes 5
This one is a longer scripture. I'll leave it to you to go read it.

When Nothing is Going Right: II Timothy 3
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away be various lusts,

always learnign and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,

persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra--what
persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that theman of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

When You Bear a Grudge: Ephesians 4
This one is also a longer scripture which you will have to look up also.
