How Should We Handle It?

I received and e-mail with an article about Beccah and her supposedly April Rose. I was deeply saddened when I read the article. Did I get angry? I wouldn't really say angry, I was upset though and wondered how anyone couldo this.

But, we are all born sinners. Not one of is perfect nor will ever be. Granted what she done is terribly wrong. She hurt many that actually went through similar situations, or have lost a child, etc. Yet many of those people tried to be there for her.

When we get past the hurt it will be time to remember how our Father loves us unconditionally and we are suppose to try and be like Him. Instead of name calling and finger pointing, she is one that "really" needs our prayers. She obviously is a very sick woman that needs some help. Let's join together and pray instead of throwing daggers at her.

Granted, I don't know what it is like to lose a child and then follow someone like Beccah only to find out it was all fake. Yes, it is a very hurtful thing to do. So please, join with me to pray for her and all those she has caused pain and grief. Thank you and God Bless. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around those that have been affected by this sad prank. May you find comfort in His love. May you be able to forgive and move on and pray for her that she finds solice in the Lord our God. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Health Update

Had an appointment with the Orthopedic surgeon today. He feels that the numbness in my feet is from nerve deteriation. Usually people with this problem have diabetes. He is glad I will be seeing a neurologist next Wed. Will have to schedule an appointment to have a diabetes test ran again.
Will be having an MRI ran on my right knee as am having problems with it now. My left knee, which is the one that had been operated on before is acting up as well. Will be having cartalige injections in both knees once he sees if I need surgery on the right knee or not. This is all from Rhuematoid arthritis tearing up the miniscus in there.
Still holding onto faith. I know only God can take all this away. It's scary in a sense to think about the possibility of losing my feet. This has been known to happen if I have diabetes and the nerves are dead. The numbness is getting worse. Usually when this happens, most have their lower limbs to thier knees amputated. :{
At least now I have an idea of why all the pain and some numbness off and on through out my body. I have no reflexes in my knees and very little in the right ankle. The left ankle has none. I keep reminding myself that there are others in much worse condition. I have grandchildren to enjoy and do things with. Am not going to let this get the best of me.
Little sis was down Monday and spent the night and talked about how she has learned to live with the pain the best she can and keep going, as often times, we don't have a choice. I so agree. There are times when we can't keep going and have to rest.
So I send out a prayer for all those hurting, in the same conditions, worse, or perhaps not as bad.

Father God, You are so precious to us. You are the Almighty. Without you life is not good. We love you Father. We long for the day when we come home to You. Thank you Father for all the goodness You place in our lives. Thank You for the lessons You continue to teach us. Thank You for protecting us from evil. Father, You are the awesome Alpha and the Omega.
Father God, there are many out there going through their trials and tribulations through some type of pain in various stages. Those facing cancer treatments. Those whose bodies are riddled with arthritis, lupus, MD, MS etc. Those who are losing or have lost limbs. Those who are war torn. Of course You know all who are suffering, all who need Your healing hands. Daddy, I pray you lay Your healing hands upon each one and let them know Your mightiness. Let them feel Your loving presence. For those who have not come to You yet, let them know and feel that You are there and are the only One that can heal them. Lead them to you.
Father, we all need you in order to continue to do as You wish for us to do. We want to be good, obedient servants of You. We know You send us trials and tribulations for a reason, often times for testemonials to help others going through the same things. Thank You for that gift! How I love you so Father. Your presence is strong and so wanted. Thank you Father God. Thank You seems so small of words for all the greatness You provide. A thousands praises go up to You! In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

While going through all this lately, I've come across some good health information. Therefore will be sharing much of it with you all or giving you the information of where to obtain it all. I pray this finds you all healthy and doing well. May the presence of the Lord fill your hearts and souls. Blessings prayed for each and everyone of you. God Bless.

By the way, I apologize for not having been on much and visiting at all. I don't know what is going on, but I've been so tired and have a very hard time staying away. :{ Hoping this all passes real soon.

T-Bone Steaks; Yellow Roses; and Friendship

T-bone steaks, yellow roses and friendship READ THIS!!!! and then reread it. Especially the last part....

I walked into the grocery store not particularly interested in buying groceries.. I wasn't hungry.. The pain of losing my husband of 57 years was still too raw. And this grocery store held so many sweet memories..

He often came with me and almost every time he'd pretend to go off and look for something special. I knew what he was up to. I'd always spot him walking down the aisle with the three yellow roses in his hands.

He knew I loved yellow roses. With a heart filled with grief, I only wanted to buy my few items and leave, but even grocery shopping was different since he had passed on.
Shopping for one took time, a little more thought than it had for two.

Standing by the meat, I searched for the perfect small steak and remembered how he had loved his steak.

Suddenly a woman came beside me. She was blonde, slim and lovely in a soft green pantsuit. I watched as she picked up a large package of T-bones, dropped them in her basket.. hesitated, and then put them back. She turned to go and once again reached for the pack of steaks.
She saw me watching her and she smiled. 'My husband loves T-bones, but honestly, at these prices, I don't know.'

I swallowed the emotion down my throat and met her pale blue eyes.
'My husband passed away eight days ago,' I told her. Glancing at the package in her hands, I fought to control the tremble in my voice. 'Buy him the steaks. And cherish every moment you have together.'

She shook her head and I saw the emotion in her eyes as she placed the package in her basket and wheeled away.

I turned and pushed my cart across the length of the store to the dairy products. There I stood, trying to decide which size milk I should buy. A Quart, I finally decided and moved on to the ice cream. If nothing else, I could always fix myself an ice cream cone.

I placed the ice cream in my cart and looked down the aisle toward the front. I saw first the green suit, then recognized the pretty lady coming towards me. In her arms she carried a package.. On her face was the brightest smile! I had ever seen... I would swear a soft halo encircled her blonde hair as she kept walking toward me, her eyes holding mine.

As she came closer, I saw what she held and tears began misting in my eyes. 'These are for you,' she said and placed three beautiful long stemmed yellow roses in my arms. 'When you go through the line, they will know these are paid for.' She leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek, then smiled again. I wanted to tell her what she'd done, what the roses meant, but still unable to speak, I watched as she walked away as tears clouded my vision.

I looked down at the beautiful roses nestled in the green tissue wrapping and found it almost unreal.. How did she know? Suddenly the answer seemed so clear. I wasn't alone.
Oh, you haven't forgotten me, have you? I whispered, with tears in my eyes. He was still with me, and she was his angel.

Every day be thankful for what you have and who you are. (Please read all of this, it is really nice)

This is a simple request. If you appreciate life, send this to your friends, including the person that sent it to you.

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings. Thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible. Thank you, Lord , that I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising. Thank you, Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, tempers are short, and my children are so loud.

Thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the picture in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced.

Thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is monotonous... Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest.

Thank you, Lord, for life.

Pass this on to the friends you know. It might help a bit to make this world a better place to live, right? A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.. A friend is someone to treasure..

For friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives with Beauty, Joy and Grace and makes the world we live in a better and happier place.

YOU ARE MY FRIEND!
God bless you and yours.

More CA

We are having a great time here. Graduation was awesome. We went to hubby's stepsisters house for breakfast afterwards and sat and reaquainted with them. We finally met the other two fo the three boys. What handsome young lads they are too. Of course the oldest is 18. He is going into the army next year. The next one is 14 and the youngest is 11 or 12.

We still haven't met his brothers youngest yet. We should get to tomorrow unless they will be at their sisters tonight. We are going back there tonight, as hubby and her set up a (what was suppose to be a suprise ;)) birthday cake for me tonight. Is that so sweet or what. I got after him for it, as we are here for her son's graduation. But just the same, I won't complain as the gesture is just too kind. His sister is such a sweet heart. Beautiful woman. I love all his family.

Anyway, not much time before we are off and running again. Between graduation and coming back here we went shopping for gifts for the kiddo's and our kids; then out to eat. Taking a short break and then back out. How I so wish we didn't have to leave Sunday. Yes, I'm boo hooing. Any hoo, hubby's saying it's time to go. More to come later. Ta Ta for now.

We Are Here!

Well we made it safe and sound. Didn't realize how much I missed being in CA. I love the palm trees and a lot of the different shrubbery, not to mention the SW architecture. I don't like how it's so crowded, but it's not nearly as bad as many other cities I've seen.
We are thankful to be staying at his parents house. It was nice having a peace and quiet and a nice bed to fall into.
The trip was interesting. We were not able to sit together when we flew out of Los Angeles to San Diego. They had double booked some seats, so we all got moved around. It was a puddle jumper flight so very cramped, but just thankful for the flights and that we are here safe. I'm not much for flying, but actually enjoyed the trip this time except the landings. They were real bumpy and we hit the flight line tipping and then a back and forth swerve. I think I elbowed the woman next to me as I jumped along with my heart. ;) Yes, I'm a baby when it comes to flying.

We got to see Rick's step brother and their son last night! This was our first time seeing him and he's 7 same age as our oldest grand daughter. How sad is that. We haven't met his little brothers son yet either. Not sure of his age. We did see his older daughter shortly after she was born. So we are excited reuniting with family and meeting new ones. Oh and we only met his step sisters oldest son, who's graduation we are here for. We are happy that the Good Lord worked it out so that we could be here for that. It's the least we can do after not seeing them since they were tiny tots.

I wish his dad and older brother and sister were able to be here as well. I'm hoping that a family reunion can happen soon. I don't know how his family would feel, but mine was talking about how they would love to have one with Rick's family out here in CA. as we all love to visit here. There is so much we would be able to do. The kids would have a blast and it would be a chance for all the family to reunite and get to know one another again. My family has only met his dad and his second wife. They have yet to meet his new wife. His dad's previous wive's have passed away. His second was just a year ago. It's been hard on him. He still grieves Rick's mom.

Any how, I need to get a wiggle on here, as I need to get in the shower and get ready. Hopefully hubby is done. Love you all. Have a blessed God filled day!

Away

Hi All!

Just giving you a heads up that we are going to San Diego today!!! Hubby hasn't seen some of his family in years. The sad thing is it's only for sort of 4 days. :{ But, at least we get to go!!!! I don't know if I'll have a chance to get on here or not. I'm taking my laptop with me just in case. So I'm going to go ahead and post Friday's funnies today, as I think this one is pretty funny. Hope you all get a chuckle at least; as laughter is the best medicine. ;) So in one post here is Thankful Thursday and Friday's funnies.

As always, there are so many things to be thankful for.

1. First and foremost I'm thankful for being in God. Being led by the Holy Spirit. For being given the gift of being forgiven for our sins.

2. The chance for hubby and I to finally have a short vacation to see family.

3. For having such a wonderful family. Hubby is the sweetest. Even through our rocky times, we manage to come out of it unscathed, thanks to the Lord.

4. Beautiful grandchildren that bring so much joy, smiles, and laughter.

5. Such wonderful friends of which I am eternally grateful for. God is good!

6. For God's healing hand! For a good health report. For my health improving. Even my knee appears to be healed. Thought sure was going to need surgery on it again, but maybe not now. Hallelujah, thank you Father!

7. For answered and unanswered prayers. Yes, you read right, sometimes Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.

8. For the opportunity to be able to read the Holy Bible and practice what it says. While praying that freedom will never be taken away from us.

9. For the sun, rain, snow, God's grace on the earth with all the beauty.

10. To wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee, sitting blogging and listening to the birds sing some mornings. I love mornings, it's the best part of the day! Thank You Daddy!

I've began to realize that we should be thankful for all things in life, even our trials and tribulations. The pain that we are sometimes put through. Yes, you read right again. I'm thankful for those times, as that is when Jesus is testing us, and using us for the greater in life. He's using us for perhaps to reach others, to have a testimonial that will aid someone else later on when they are going through the same thing. Perhaps to teach us and draw us nearer. No matter the consequence, He is using it to help someone. Thank you Jesus!

Hope you all have a Blessed, Happy, Thankful Thursday!

How Technology has changed us.

Yikes! Sad, but somewhat true.

Have a great laughter funny Friday day.

May you all be given the gift of laughter today and everyday!

Let's Take a Stand

Hello All!

I received this e-mail this morning and it just made me sick. We must take a stand against this kind of action and stop it!!!

We are looking at the possible removal of Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer,Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah and other pastors from the airwaves.

An organization has been granted a Federal Hearing on the same subject by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in Washington , D.C. Their petition, Number 2493, would ultimately pave the way to stop the reading of the gospel of our Lord and Savior, on the airwaves of America. They got 287,000 signatures to back their stand.

If this attempt is successful, all Sunday worship services being broadcast on the radio or by television will be stopped. This group is also campaigning to remove all Christmas programs and Christmas carols from public schools! You as a Christian can help.

We are praying for at least 1 million signatures. This would defeat their effort and show that there are many Christians alive, well and concerned about our country. As Christians, we must unite on this.

Please don't take this lightly. We ignored one lady once and lost prayer in our schools and in offices across the nation. Please stand up for your religious freedom and let your voice be heard. Together we can make a difference in our country while creating an opportunity for the lost to know the Lord.

Dr. Dobson is going on CNBC to urge every Christian to get involved.

I deleted the parts about signing and sending on. If you would like a copy e-mailed to you, please leave your e-mail address in the comments section and I will be sure and send it to you. Otherwise, my suggestion is to get a hold of whoever you can and let them know we will not stand for this. And most important of all, let's start a prayer vigil on this matter. We can not let them continue to destroy what our country was founded on. Let's let God know how precious we believe He is and ask Him to come down and save us! Some programs have already been removed from some schools which is very disturbing. NO MORE!!! Thank you and God Bless

MRI Results

I received the results of my MRI. I'm normal!!! Ha ha, what ever normal is. ;)
I'm still having the headaches and occasional mild numbness, so my doctor is going to refer me to a neurologist.
I have an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon for my feet and have recently messed up my knee (same one that was operated on) and will be having that looked into as well.
Thank you "all" for your prayers. I know that God heard them and took care of me so that the brain scan came out normal. Hallelujah and Praise God!!! God is good. Just as with the brain, I'm believing He is going to take care of all the rest of the problems.
I am praying and ask for prayer that the problem with the headaches and numbness is not a pinched nerve, as I was told before that if the problem persists, they will have to operate. I am not keen on anyone operating on my neck. But if that is what is to be done, so be it. I'll be led by the Lord.

Honestly, I believe I'm just in a season. The Lord is using all this to wake me up to taking better care of His temple. As you all know, I'm obese and need to do something about it. Once I've seen the neurologist, I'll be able to get back to working out which will help tremendously, well and when my knee is repaired once again. :{ Trying to keep from having a knee replacement for a while yet, as you can only have 3 done in a life time and they only last for a few years. Okay, I know, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry; (Charles Stanley's very words). I cast all my cares up to the Lord.

God Bless you all! Love to you all. You all are wonderful.
