Prayer Request
I'm asking for prayers for my little sister Sarah. She is the one that just won custody of her grand daughters. She's been dealing with FMS for years along with back and neck problems. She just got laid off work for a week which she can not afford to do after paying all the lawyer fees for one. She needs an MRI done but can't afford it, which we are working on. Thankfully talked her into getting it done. Her lower back gave out on her while at work just bending over to pick something up. She's been seeing a chiropractor and he is really confused with what is going on with her along with the doctors. Hopefully the MRI will show something and she can be taken care of.
Pray for quick healing, a doctor that can figure it out and help her, answers to what is going on. She is having other health issues as well. Those little girls need her. She is so good with them. The residents at the nursing home all love her too and need her there. She is such a good woman in the Lord. She has the one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. She's always giving of herself and putting herself last.
Also pray for her two older boys who are adults. They've gone astray. They were such good boys. One is bi-polar and is not on his medication. The other I'm not sure what the mental illness is called, but also is not on his medication. They had to take it off of him as it was causing his heart to race. He never did get on anything else. So they both are not thinking right and headed for trouble. They both need jobs with medical benefits so they can get themselves taken care of.
The poor woman has enough to deal with without having to go through all the worry. Her youngest boy is a sweetheart and usually very helpful, but hormones have kicked in and he's being a stinker right now, but have high hopes for him.
Anyway, thank you for your prayers. I know the Good Lord will take care of her. The power in numbers makes a huge difference. I know she will be eternally greatful to all of you. God Bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Prayer Requests and Prayer Thanks
First off, I would like to ask you all to please pray for a friends daughter who has been having stomach problems for over 3 weeks now. She's been to the doctor four times already and with no results. She's missed 2 weeks of school already, probably more by now. She is an A/B student and a cheerleader. She is also a young lady learning the ways of the Lord. She volunteers often at the church.
She's been naseous, week, lethargic, just unable to do anything with chronic pain. Please pray for God's intervention to bind and remove the enemy from here to loose the healing onto her and to heal quickly so she can return to her academics. That the right doctor is sent her way to figure out what is happening with her and take care of the problem. Thank you.
Also, a friend of mine who I met through our small group meetings is encircled in darkness right now. She has been dealing with mental illnesses for some time, suffers from seasonal disorder--which it has been cloudy for days on end here--and has problems with demon voices attacking her thoughts. Lately, she has let the enemy take control of her and has her believing that no one cares about her. Please pray for the Lords intervention here that she is able to hear his voice again, and lean on Him for guidance and strength. Bind the enemy and remove it from her now. Loose the angels of heaven to guard her and keep the enemy away from her.
A thank you goes out to all of you for your supportive prayers. Praise the Lord, my sister gained full custody of her grand children. It is by the Lord's blessings and desire for this to happen. It is a huge relief as now the children will receive the love and care they so deserve. Thank you Lord, and thank you all for your dedicated prayers. The power of prayer is amazing.
May God Bless You All Always and Always P.U.S.H.

Prayer Request
I have another prayer request. This goes out to a long time dear friend. He is the same age range as hubby and I. This has really hit home. We've been seeing so many young people pass on.
Anyway, he went to the hospital either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and just got out a day or two ago, (I don't have all the exact details yet). He found out that he has bone cancer and only has a couple of months to live. Could you imangine going in not feeling well and finding out you have a very short time to live? At first they told him a year at tops. Then after more testing realized he doesn't have long at all.
He is a son, husband, father and a grand father. He served in the military and then in Civil Service. He's a man dedicated to family and friends. A great sense of humor. Has a beautiful wife who has a heart of gold, wonderful kids, and became dedicated grandparents.
So I am asking for prayers for him. I'm not giving out a name until I've had a chance to find out if it is okay. Just pray for the 40 0r 50 something young man in Mountain Home for healing. Pray for a miracle. We all know God has done this. The power of prayer is a beautiful thing. God's blessings are awesome. Thank you all for your wonderful caring hearts. May God Bless you all abundantly.

Prayer Request
My heart is breaking. I hate to see anyone suffer, but especially kids. This family is going through some tough times. I happened on to Laura's blog who is keeping updates going on Coleman's life. He is a 5 year old, (just turned 5 Dec. 10th), and is battling cancer. He has been fighting it since age 2 1/2. He has a twin brother who is having a hard time with understanding it all. The parents are leaning on the Lord and need our prayers. There is also a site to go to, to light a candle that lasts for 48 hours at a time where you can light a candle and say a prayer for Coleman. This little boy and his family needs us. Let's all take a stand, light a candle every 48 hours and bless this boy and his family. There is also a link to where one can go to Coleman's care page. I have not tried it yet. Here is the link and instructions for lighting a candle: (Taken from Laura's page) keep Lighting a candles for Team LArson as they only last for 48 hours http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=csl group name is CSL
I know there are a lot of people who have a heart and are in the Lord, please be praying and lighting candles. The power of prayer is unbeatable. God Bless You

Update/Prayer Request
First of all, I would like to thank all of you that come to visit here. You have all touched my heart in one way or another. With kind words, giggles (much appreciated, as I believe laughter is the best medicine, plus it is suppose to help one shed weight,) inspiration, support, etc. There is a such a great circle of people in blog world. I'm happy to have had the chance to get to know each one of you.
Second, I apologize for not having visited or posted the past few days. I don't know where the time has gone. Christmas isn't even a part of it. Do you ever have those days where you feel like your days are all topsy turvy, upside down, inside out, your mind doesn't function, you don't know where the hours in the day went, and you wonder how you'll ever get to do what you needed/wanted to do? Well, that's the way these past 3 days have been. So I've been asking what His plan is for me? Why, what is going on? Hee hee. Plus I have not been getting much sleep lately, so when I do get on the computer I read my mail and start to fall asleep. (Blushing).
Now for an update: God is Good, God is Faithful. Thank you to all that have kept us in your prayers.
First, my niece gets out of the hospital tomorrow!!!!!! She was diagnosed as severely depressed and ADHD. That explains the reason for her attempting to commit suicide while in the hospital. There are certian medications for depression that can not be given to those with ADHD. Thank heavens they caught that. I'm so relieved to hear she is doing well. I knew she would get there. Her parents have taken a complete turn around and are working on being a family. Praise the Lord!!!!! What a huge relief. We had a great prayer session in our small group over her on Wed. I felt such a rush come over me that I knew all would be well.
Second, my special needs step-grandson is finally going to get some helpt that he has been so badly in need of. His mom has finally excepted the fact that he has problems and is looking into a program for him. What a relief that is. I've been praying like crazy over him. He needs a lot of help. I feel big time for him.
Now if we can just get my daughter back on track and out of her depressive state, and my parents doing well things will be looking up.
Now on a downer, my sister needs prayers that they get full custody of the two little girls they have been fighting for. The mother is completely incompetent. Her son is not ready to take care of kids and needs to be back on his medication. He is bi-polar and ADHD. I finally got to meet the two girls. Oh my gosh they are such cuties. How anyone could neglect them the way they had been is beyond me. Well, how any child can be abused and/or neglected just makes me sick. The little two year old is amazing. The 1 1/2 year old is still so small. She is underweight still but finally gaining now that she is being fed properly.
Mom is determined to get the girls back. She is going to purposely fail her psych eval. Which I would thank if she fails it, she will for sure lose the girls, but her attorney told her that if she fails it, she can say she didn't know what she was doing when she agreed to turn the girls over to my sister and her hubby. This girl does not deserve to have those babies. Both girls had severe diaper rash. The two year old had a yeast infection. The baby had eyes bulging out, from malnutrtion. She was nothing but skin and bones. It turns my stomach at the thought. Children do not deserve that kind of treatment. Mom is mentally disturbed and refuses to get any help.
The baby cries when mom holds her the whole time. The two year old whines and then has a hard time sleeping and acts up whenever she comes around. Otherwise she is a well behaved littel girl. My sister got their bottoms cleared up in no time. The two year old had diaper rash for two years. The baby shortly after they brought her home and had it the whole time until my sister took the girls.
Okay, I'm sure you can tell this is a subject that is very near and dear to my heart. I have no tolerance for child abuse/neglect. It's wrong. I keep hearing, "For God so loved the little children." Why? How can anyone do that to children? Especially helpless innocent little ones. Okay, enough. Anyhow, if you could all add the babies in your prayers, I would so greatly appreciate it. The power of prayer in numbers! Thank You.
If there are a lot of typos in here, I apologize. I try to proof read before posting, but am struggling to stay awake. :( Dern it all. Why do we need sleep? There isn't enough hours in the day, need to carry them on into the night. Hee hee, ha ha. Okay, I know, that's probably why the brain isn't functioning too well huh? I hope to visit you all this weekend, and post something decent.
Good night, and God Bless.

Life's Trials and Tribulations
Well, needless to say, the past few days have been rather interesting. It all started with our daughter not passing the emissions test on her car. So of course her registration was revoked. She couldn't afford to have it taken in, so we took care of that. What ever the problem, the vehicle has to be ran for a few weeks before it will pass. So she's driving without registration, and her fiance is driving one of our vans for now (we have two, my hubby's for work, and mine for hauling kids). ;) Omah's taxi hee hee.
While up visiting my parents, we received a call from my middle sister. Her daughter who is either 14 or 15--pretty sad, I can't remember for sure--has become suicidal and is in a mental hospital. The doctor can not figure out what is going on with her. She is having a really rough time. I got a call from my sister on our way back that my niece attempted suicide again while in the hospital. This is why I could not post last night. I met them at the hospital with our family medical history on depression etc. So I am asking for prayer for her and the family. My sister and her husband is having a really hard time with this, naturally.
The stress has done a number on my parents as well. My mother has been having problems with getting dizzy spells and then passing out for a bit. Well she had a bad spell Saturday night. So if you could all pray for her as well. The doctors have ran so many tests and tried so many medications that she has given up. My dads health is going down hill real fast as well. He has heart problems.
Then to top it off, I just got a call that our future son-in-law (who works mid shift) is stranded at work and cant get our van started. He works 30 minutes away. It's a fun situation. He gets home, helps our daughter get the 5 kids ready to go, I take the boys to school 30 minutes away and then come back and drop off the oldest girl at school then take the other two home or stay at our daughters and help clean up. Well, now we have to work it out to where my husband can get to work (at his bosses house) and hopefully find transportation to city hall where his other office is. We can't get our son-in-law until I drop the boys off.
Of course daughter is stressed because there is no one to help her get the kids ready for school and take care of the baby while she gets ready. Son-in-law won't be able to drive home by the time I get there (dropping boys off then go jump the van). So our son has to go and drive that one back, as son-in-law won't be able to stay awake to drive.
So everyone is pinging right now. Hee hee. Does us some good. To me this is a way to wake son-in-law up to finding a new position that will give him the money to get them a new vehicle (his no longer runs and needs a whole new engine) grrrr. Let them all see and appreciate all that we try to do for them, and all that they have. Although I know our daughter is very thankful and he seems to be as well. I honestly think the Lord is trying to wake them up to some things that need to be done. As for the message to us, haven't figured that one out yet. I'm not asking for sympathy, as this is all going to work out. I'm just writing to vent I guess and the main thing is a prayer request for my niece and parents. The rest is minor. I do find some humor in the whole vehicle part, but it is also a bit overwhelming at this point as it is all coming at one time, and during the holidays.
There are so many out there though that are in much worse conditions, I guess that is why I can find some humor in all this. You have to laugh. If you don't, you allow the enemy to attack. Sure don't need that happening. The Lord has been good to us, and I know He will take care of it all now too.
By the way, thank you all for your wonderful comments. After reading them all, I told my hubby and son how blessed I am to have come into contact with such wonderful people. You really made my night last night. The comments were so uplifting and reminded me, despite the dark cloud hanging over the family right now, just how pure and wonderful the Lord is with the people He brings into our lives.
God Bless you all, and thank you so much.

Prayer Request
This is a prayer request going out to all.
My little sister Sarah is currently fighting for custody of her grand daughter and her sister. The other girl is of a different father. The reason being is the oldest has been suffering neglect for some time. The mother has some serious mental problems and is incapable of caring for the babies properly. Micah (the oldest) has had severe diaper rash since birth. Mom refused to use desitin or anything else. When my sister went to see her new granddaughter (Katie), she found the bathtub was filthy. It took her 2 hours to clean it! Micah had a urninary tract infection. Mom did not want to take her in to receive medical care. The poor girl has been sleeping in a bed soaked with urine, to include the pillow. Mom does not know how to cook. Yesterday, Micah had french toast for breakfast, which is okay, but didn't happen until 10 am. Then she had sweet tarts and graham crackers for lunch; and part of a corn dog for dinner. This is a typical day for the child.
Sarah called and asked for serious praying to be done. I knew to come to all of you as well. There is a hearing Monday, Nov. 3rd to decide whether or not Sarah will get custody (the social worker is pulling for it to happen) or whether more research will be needed, or if the mother appeals.
Please be praying for the children to recieve what is necessary to have them in a loving environment, more importantly a safe environment. Sarah's son does have bi-polar and has been off his medication and was afraid to go against the mothers wishes as she would do crazy stuff if he did. While pregnant with Katie (the newborn) she held a knife to her stomach and threatened to take her life and the babies. She's called the police on Ryan and lied to get him into trouble if he made her mad. The children need to be taken from that environment. Praise the Lord, Ryan is back on his medication, receiving counseling.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to work on him and help him become a good father. Pray that Melissa (mom) will be helped as well. Those babies deserve a better life than this. Children are a precious gift from God. We need to nurture them and care for them.
So please pray for Micah Marie O'Grady and Katie May Krueger (the two babies) for safety and love. For Melissa and Ryan to come to the Lord, be healed and become the parents those precious girls need. Thank you to all of you for your prayers. Prayer in numbers is owe so powerful. God Bless!
