Forgive me for all the posts tonight. So much has happened in the past hour my head is spinning. So many thoughts and ideas. One subject is gossip and the pain it causes.
Tonight I received a call from my little sis that our parents were not doing well. Not too long ago my dad had withdrawn from a volunteer position he had been doing. His health is not good, and then after falling and cracking ribs not once, but twice, he was not capable of carrying out the duties that well. He regretfully resigned his position. Partly because of much bickering and gossiping and many not wanting to learn some very important tasks. Anyway, I don't want to go in depth and carry it into a gossip session.
Shortly after many were complaining about my dad resigning, accusing him of being a quieter. Let me tell you a bit about him. My dad is an honest hard working man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He's 74 years old, had stints put in his heart, suffers from high blood pressure and sugar diabetes. He still plugs along, does work for many in the community, doesn't charge what the going rates are for his work, has done a lot of volunteer work for the community and will give anyone who needs it his all.
Now after all the years of doing what he can for them, they are mad at him, pointing their fingers, talking to my mother with all their gossip, bringing her down. She ended up upset, her blood pressure shot up, she became angry with dad, dad became even more upset than he's been, he's looking yellow and very emotional. My little sister just moved out there and now they are spreading rumors about her.
So my point is, gossiping is wrong. Gossiping hurts. When it gets to the point where you are affecting people's health, how far is one willing to go? They must be able to see it. My parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary and will be celebrating their 51st the end of this month. Now they are bickering due to gossipers. Why? What comes of it? Why hurt people with your idle gossip? Why spend your time making it your business of what others are doing, or passing judgment on others for that matter?
If you have time on your hands to talk poorly of others, making a mockery of their lives, making them miserable, then you have time to sit and read the word. I would highly suggest doing that instead. I pray for the souls of those who have nothing better to do. Because someday judgment day will come upon each and everyone of us. Do you think the Lord our God is going to find favor on those that have spent their days filled with tongues that slight.

No matter how we look at it, the Lord does not like loose lips and sly tongues. It does not get us anywhere.
Thankfully my little sister lives close to our parents now and was able to go and get them calmed down. She let them know that she has kept silent and never stepped in, letting them handle it. But she is not about to stand by and let a bunch of busy bodies come between them and possibly put them six feet under. I'm thankful for my loving family willing to take a stand for one another. I pray my parents find peace in the Lord. I'm thankful my sister is filled with the Lord and has a strong passion for Him. Instead of being angry with the citizens doing the hurt, I pray for the Lord to enter them and soften their hearts. I pray for their souls for obviously they do not know what they do. I pray for divine intervention amongst those that do the spiteful things they do. I pray they repent for their wickedness and seek forgiveness and give themselves to the Lord. I pray if they are saved that they think twice about what they are doing, get back in the word and repent, repent, repent. Let not what Christ went through for our sins go in vain.
Note: I do not claim to be sin free by any means. I am going to do a testimony of a wicked life I once led and what has led me to try to keep a clean life now. So when I write articles such as this, it's to remind myself as well. Lord knows I am still a huge work in progress. In fact I was just sitting here discussing with him my stubbornness still at times, but thankfully He's such a loving God, He forgives, hugs and tells us He still loves us. Hmmm, why can't we all be that way? Wouldn't life be grand then?
May you all be void of having the wicked slander your good name. May the Lord protect you from the evil ways of the world, of the flesh. May he place a hedge of protection around each one of you and cover you with the blood of Jesus. God Bless you all!

Reunited
Well, I'm off to visit my grand kids for the first time in a long time. (Jays kids). Please be praying for a good, successful reunion. For peace among us all. For continuation of visits with them. That there will be no more road blocks between us. Pray for a long term relationship with their mother and the children. Most of all that the children keep their desire for church and the Lord! For all the kids for that matter.

More People Struggling
I just came across another family struggling, struggling very hard. Valerie Lynn at Simply 4 God, you can find her link on my side bar--sorry, forgot to copy her link--and read and encourage her.
Valerie, here is a prayer for you and any others that are struggling.
Oh Father, our Father of strength, El Shaddai, thank You for all your blessings, for all your prayers you continue to answer. For your faithfulness to your children. You never leave us even through hard times. Thank You for always being with us. Thank You Jesus for Your great sacrifice, for by Your blood we are saved. What can wash away our sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Yes, sweet Jesus, You sacrificed Your life for us, You spilled Your blood for us. We are forever greatful. We humble ourselves before You Father. For we are not worthy of You. We are nothing without You. Thank You most glorious Daddy!
El Elyon, we need You, we need You now in our times of trials, in our times of troubles, in our times of unrest. We know You have Your plans for us. You use trials and tribulations to draw us nearer. Please Jehovah Jireh, bring heaven down to earth. Bring peace upon your children who are crying out to you. See our tears great Jehovah Rophe, and heal us. Make us strong again. Prayer Requests
My dear friends, I have a request of prayer from all of you. My heart is hurting right now, but I know He will take care of it. I've noticed the enemy striking and working hard all over the world, working hard on breaking us down. Trust me, this is not a pity party I'm having, just a sharing of what I see right now, and it's almost brought me down. But God's faithfulness and strength has lifted me back up and I know that no matter what, I must focus, keep walking forward, and hold on to faith. It sure does get hard sometimes though, doesn't it?
Any way, I have friend who wants nothing more than to be fulfilled with the Lord. She seeks Him all the time. Her heart yearns for her husband to do the same, but he won't even discuss it with her. She is going through a tough time and unable to read the Bible and is having difficulty praying. Another is going through similar trials. She is having a hard time focusing and knowing what to do with her time. Her husband had been seriously hurt in a church and will not go back, discuss the Lord with her and does not want to hear about it. She so desires to have him return.
It breaks your heart to see such beautiful women experiencing this. So if you could pray for them. I'm not giving out names for obvious reasons. He knows who you are praying for. Another woman and her husband are having dire financial problems, plus there is a chance her husband may lose his job. Please pray for them. They have three beautiful boys too. She has given herself to the Lord, but her husband hasn't. We need the husbands to come to the Lord, as they are the leaders of the home. They need to be able to righteously uphold the home and family. Let's pray hard for this.
Our son has had a set back with his meds. It was a bit uneasy for the past two days, but thankfully he knew he needed help and got it. Pray for healing in him and the breaking of generational curses of mental illness. It runs heavy on my side of the family.
We were suppose to finally see our sons two kids this weekend, but of course with what he is facing, it isn't possible. I've come down with the crud. So weak and sleepy and my face feels like it is going to explode. But I am believing I will be healed soon. Pray for healing so that I can go visit the kids at least.
My dad had fallen on ice a little over a week ago and broke some ribs. They were concerned about his liver due to the location of the break. He is suppose to be taking it easy and doing no lifting. Well, he's a stubborn man, had gone to a Catholic school, faithfully went to church, and then quit. He believes, but something is holding him back. He is a very, very giving man. Always giving of himself, but will not ask for help. They heat their home with a wood stove. He's been going out and hauling in wood. My sister who has the back problems drove out with her son so he could haul wood in for him. Yesterday dad got up as he was in pain and put some wood in the stove. Mom got up and told him to go back to bed as it was 4 am. So he did. He tried to get back out of bed when he woke up and popped something in his back. He was unable to get up. Mom had to help him after he laid there for awhile groaning. She finally heard him.
My little sister finally had an MRI done on her back. They messed up and didn't do the lumps. She did find out that she has ruptured discs and bone fragments pushing into her sciatic nerve. The earliest she can see the Neurosurgeon is the 17th. Meanwhile, her husband and sons are not being of much help. They won't bathe the girls (the ones they just got custody of before all this happened), they won't clean the house, and she is not to do any lifting or bending of any kind. She is to keep her back straight. She couldn't take it any more and got up and gave the girls baths, cleaned the bathroom, scrubbed the kitchen floor on her hands and knees, and cleaned up the kitchen. She's a very thorough neat housekeeper. Anything remotely getting dirty, or something out of place drives her nuts. The beginning of the weak she talked of them letting trash bags full pile up in the house. Grrrrr. She has a heart of gold. She is like our dad, always giving of herself. While working in the nursing home, she kicked some behinds and whipped the place into shape. Residents hadn't been receiving proper care. Many were being neglected. Air tanks were not being checked. It was sad. She finally got many of the workers there to take pride in what they were doing, boosted moral, and got many of the workers to open their eyes as to how much those residents could bring happiness and how rewarding it was to take care of them. I'm so proud of her. She is a good woman in the Lord following His plans for her. She worked despite the constant chronic pain she was in. Those residents meant the world to her and she strived to make sure they were happy. She would take time to help them, even though she wasn't an aide or a nurse. She was laundry. She had worked as an aide years back, but her body can't take it any more. The laundry was hard on her too, but she stuck it out until now.
Then I have another sister that had thyroid cancer. Now they are thinking she has cancer somewhere else, along with other problems and is needing an operation, which they don't want to do, as she has blood clots in her legs that they can not get rid of. So she is a high risk.
A friend whose father is going down hill quickly. Another whose mother is in and out.
Now, on a good note--I should have put this all first--we finally get to see all our grandchildren! Praise the Lord. My lil' sis, come to find out was out of groceries, and had rent due. They were waiting on a check from her hubby's brother, but it never showed on time. They had to pay rent, which meant no food for two weeks. Low and behold. The day they "had" to pay the rent, her middle son received a check from way back when. It happened because he had called the company and asked for his W2's. This was from a place he had worked at where they used to live. He didn't even know he still had a check coming. Guess what, her son let her have the money for rent. The check was for $4.00 more than their rent! They were able to pay rent and get groceries. Hallelujah!!! God's timing is perfect. My mothers health is improving day by day. God is good.
This is why I'm asking for everyone to be praying diligently, and hard that the enemy is knocked down. That the cabal over our country is replaced by the glorious light of the Lord. We will not let the enemy take control. We will take a stand and fight the enemy.
I have to admit, the phone call from my sister was what almost broke me down, then I received a message from one of my friends, I started to get down; and then with her needs, I realized and said, "NO!!! you will not bring me down. I will not let you take me too. I'm a daughter of the Almighty God. I believe in Him and I trust in Him. You are not going to break my faith. No way, no how. I know I need to cast my cares up to Him and trust in Him to take care of it all."
Whew!!! Just writing this lifted a load off of my shoulders. He's moving right now. He's healing right now. Ask and He shall answer. Seek and we shall find. Knock and He will open the door. Oh Thank You Heavenly Father. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, we need You so now. Bring heaven down to earth. Shake the people alive. Wake them up to You. Open their ears, their eyes, and their souls. Fill us with the Holy Spirit. Don us all with the Armor of God. Anoint us with a covering. Surround us with a hedge of protection. Cover us with the Blood of Jesus, and seal it in Jesus Name I pray. Thank You Daddy, Thank You Jesus! You are the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, El Shaddai, Elohim, El Rohi, Jehovah Jireh, Jehova Ra'ah, El Elyon, Adonai, Jehovah Rophe, Sweet Father in Heaven. We love You, We thank You. We believe Daddy, we believe! In Jesus Sweet Name, Amen!

On His Way to Heaven
I am sad to report for those that have not seen the update yet, little Coleman has gone on to meet our Father. The little guy was a trooper and fought hard. His family fought hard for him. They never gave up on faith. Please say a prayer for them. For those of us that have never lost a little one before, can only imagine what that family is going through. Economic Disaster
When reading another bloggers post it gave me an idea for one to write.
Many are overwhelmed, sickened, saddened, or just plain scared about the way the economy is headed. Some have pulled money out of the banks feeling that there is no way their money can be safe there. Some are stocking up on things that will last a long time. Perhaps this is wise; I do not know. Some are wondering about stocks, savings, 401Ks etc. It is a perplexing time in our lives.
But there is one thing we must remember. The Lord hands us no more than we can handle. We must hold steadfast in believing He will take care of us. Instead of doing what "we" think we should do, we need to go to Him and ask what it is He wants us to do.
Taking a stand together, praying for release of the enemy that has taken control of our economics, politics, government, the people, etc. Praying for sustenance in our lives. Praying for a leader of the country to be righteous and just and follow the words of the Lord.
Let us not pannick. Let us come together, unified, standing side-by-side with the Lord, walking with Him. Let us stay calm and not bend to the pressure. Worry, pannick, anger, stress, all opens doors to the enemy. We can stop the madness by taking a stand together in God.
Trust, Stand, Pray, Believe, Obey, Love. As I mentioned in an earlier post; our Pastors son spoke on the ever lasting love of God. His love never fails us. He has never changed His ways in any way at any time. We must do the same for Him. All those in agreement, please sign in the comment area at least. Thank you and God Bless!

But there is one thing we must remember. The Lord hands us no more than we can handle. We must hold steadfast in believing He will take care of us. Instead of doing what "we" think we should do, we need to go to Him and ask what it is He wants us to do.
Taking a stand together, praying for release of the enemy that has taken control of our economics, politics, government, the people, etc. Praying for sustenance in our lives. Praying for a leader of the country to be righteous and just and follow the words of the Lord.
Let us not pannick. Let us come together, unified, standing side-by-side with the Lord, walking with Him. Let us stay calm and not bend to the pressure. Worry, pannick, anger, stress, all opens doors to the enemy. We can stop the madness by taking a stand together in God.
Trust, Stand, Pray, Believe, Obey, Love. As I mentioned in an earlier post; our Pastors son spoke on the ever lasting love of God. His love never fails us. The Prodigals
Tonight I am asking for prayer for the Prodigals.
As parents we want nothing but the best for our children. There are those of us that want that without realizing just what the best is. I was brought to the Lord by my grandmother. Attended church and Sunday school growing up. But then wandered when I left home and went into the military. Married a man that did not believe. I still believed, and talked to the Lord, but was not a true Christian.
Our two children had followed friends into Christianity which was a blessing. I wanted to be involved, but for some reason just couldn't do it. Now our kids are grown adults, 25 and 26. Our son, the oldest came to Christ and led us to Him as well. Our daughter once moving back to the states lost her Christianity. We've tried to bring her back, but to no avail. We continue to pray for her, as we believe she will return. Our son has waivered in the past due to medications and illnesses. He has been doing so good and now we may be losing him again.
My message is to all that have young children. Involve them in church and the word right away. We currently take some of our grand children to church with us. Sometimes they attend services, other times they go to Sunday school. They love it and crave it. One is 6, one is 4 and the other is 4 months. The baby is captivated by our Pastors voice! Ocassionally the 7 year old goes with us as well. He craves learning about Jesus as well. They may venture as they get older, but are much less apt to, and will come back much easier.
I wish I had stayed involved, but perhaps I went through what I did to teach me some important lessons in life. Regardless, I know what it is like to be without the Lord. Life is a struggle more than we could ever imagine until we find our way back. I can not imagine what it would be like to walk away now. I don't want to know.
So I'm asking that we all pray for the prodigals of the world, that they will be brought back, their faith will grow strong, they will stay with their walk in the Lord. Let's ask for the lost souls to be saved. They need us; they neeed Him. Luke 15:11-32 talks of the prodigal son.
Luke 15:31-32 NLV, "His father said to him, 'Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!" Amen. I'm believing the prodigals will come to life again and will be found again.
Matthew 18:12-14 NLV, "If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won't he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the nintey-nine that didn't wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father's will that even one of these little-ones should perish."
I so enjoy reading the Jesus's parables. Some can be confusing, but when we take the time to read different translations it often helps. Also reading the commentary helps one have a deeper understanding. We have so much at our fingertips to teach us what the Bible says. God is good!
Thank you Father God for all the good you do. Thank you for never leaving us, standing by, waiting for us to come to you. Amen

A Seed Has Been Planted!
For months I've dealt with a heavy heart knowing that--or should I say thought that--one of my grandsons did not believe in God. We've prayed and prayed for deliverance for him and his dad for some time. The boy wants to be just like dad, and dad is an atheist. Today after retrieving him from school, he says, "Omah, remember how you told me that my mom had told you that she used to take me to church; well she said she never did tell you that." I told him he had misunderstood me, that he was the one that had told me. He argued with me and then started asking questions about God!
Needless to say, I was excited. I thought cool, he is interested. Come to find out, he has always believed and prayed; Praise the Lord! But, he was confused, as dad is confused and does not know whether to believe and what to believe. My son and I continued for the whole 20 minute drive to discuss the Bible, Jesus, and God with him. He was under the wrong perception of what church is all about. We were able to get him to see that church is not a downer place to go. He thought we were there to get people to believe and do what we felt was right.
Because of his frustration and carrying on the thought of a conversation we had once, a couple of weeks back, a child was enlightened more and has a desire to learn. A seed has been watered. Now it needs to be tended to and nurtured. He wants to start reading the Bible now. In fact, I told him I would get him one that would probably be a little easier to understand. Then we talked about receiving Christ and being saved. He had the wrong perception of that and why Jesus died on the cross.
Once hearing what and who our Father & Son are, he is excited, wants to learn and wants to be saved!!!!! Hallelujiah! God is Good! All the time! I can't begin to say what a relief that is. There has been a cloud of darkness covering that household for some time. A little glimmer of light has broken through. Hopefully the other four children will have an easier time now. The two girls and occasionally the one or to of the other boys go to church with us. They all have a love for Jesus. The oldest girl wants so bad to learn all she can! Now we just need to pray for dad to believe and for mom to go back to church and get her strength back in the Lord.
And oh Happy Days! Happy Days! We'll never be the same! Even in the shadows of the dark and dreary days of fall and winter, there is light! Praise God! We can never give up hope; never stop praying; never stop believing. For every season, there is a reason.

Our Great Nation
After reading some blog posts, and listening to videos on this early morning of the voting day; I've reflected on all that has transpired up to this day. It is amazing how so many have been duped by the media. It saddens me to see how many are relying on the media and not what our great and wonderful Creator asks of us to do.
What does make me feel good is how the Churches across the world have come together, prayed together and seek the word of God. This is a comfort, as the Lord is the one who is in control; not us. Our Church has been praying three times a day; 6 am, noon, and 6 pm. for insight from Jehovah Jireh, for righteous people to be voted into office, for truths to be revealed, etc. This past Sunday we had Sacred Assembly which was a life changing event! The Lords presence was so strong! His voice loud and strong!
Our Church is going to continue to pray on a daily basis. Our Pastor has been great at getting the word out and many are picking up on the importance of the Church. We are coming back to where we all should be, and that is being steadfast in seeking the Lord as a whole!
I have a good feeling about this great nation. I'm believing that God will prevail. Regardless of what happens this election, our faith must remain strong. We must remember that whatever happens, God is in control. We must turn to Him! No matter what, stand for America, our great nation, to keep life, family, marriages as they were deemed to be from the beginning. Let's come together to remove the dark veil that has been sweeping over America!
Remember, what happens in our country has an affect on the whole world. It's not just about us. What happens today can affect the future of our children. What do we want for them?
God Bless America, the land of the Free, the home of the Brave!

Prayer Request
This is a prayer request going out to all.
My little sister Sarah is currently fighting for custody of her grand daughter and her sister. The other girl is of a different father. The reason being is the oldest has been suffering neglect for some time. The mother has some serious mental problems and is incapable of caring for the babies properly. Micah (the oldest) has had severe diaper rash since birth. Mom refused to use desitin or anything else. When my sister went to see her new granddaughter (Katie), she found the bathtub was filthy. It took her 2 hours to clean it! Micah had a urninary tract infection. Mom did not want to take her in to receive medical care. The poor girl has been sleeping in a bed soaked with urine, to include the pillow. Mom does not know how to cook. Yesterday, Micah had french toast for breakfast, which is okay, but didn't happen until 10 am. Then she had sweet tarts and graham crackers for lunch; and part of a corn dog for dinner. This is a typical day for the child.
Sarah called and asked for serious praying to be done. I knew to come to all of you as well. There is a hearing Monday, Nov. 3rd to decide whether or not Sarah will get custody (the social worker is pulling for it to happen) or whether more research will be needed, or if the mother appeals.
Please be praying for the children to recieve what is necessary to have them in a loving environment, more importantly a safe environment. Sarah's son does have bi-polar and has been off his medication and was afraid to go against the mothers wishes as she would do crazy stuff if he did. While pregnant with Katie (the newborn) she held a knife to her stomach and threatened to take her life and the babies. She's called the police on Ryan and lied to get him into trouble if he made her mad. The children need to be taken from that environment. Praise the Lord, Ryan is back on his medication, receiving counseling.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to work on him and help him become a good father. Pray that Melissa (mom) will be helped as well. Those babies deserve a better life than this. Children are a precious gift from God. We need to nurture them and care for them.
So please pray for Micah Marie O'Grady and Katie May Krueger (the two babies) for safety and love. For Melissa and Ryan to come to the Lord, be healed and become the parents those precious girls need. Thank you to all of you for your prayers. Prayer in numbers is owe so powerful. God Bless!
