Double Awards

This comes from our dear sweet sister Tami at Diary of a Mad Woman If you've never visited her blog, please do so. You will be happy you did. She's a beautiful, loving, full of life woman. I always feel so blessed when reading her blog. She amazes me with how she can take a difficult moment and put it in a positive setting. I love that quality in a person. She has a beautiful heart for God as well. It really shows. I love you so dear sweet sister. Thank you for your blessings.
Now, I'm going to be very honest here. In one senes, I don't really care for awards, as if there are rules attached, it's very difficult and I don't like people thinking they don't mean as much. Believe me, that couldn't be further from the truth. You all mean a lot to me. We are after all brothers and sisters right? So I jumped at this opportunity to be able to let everyone on my blog roll and those of you visiting for the first time to please take these awards and pass them on. Share the love. No rules attached. But, why not tell us a little about yourselves along with the award. It's always nice learning more about our dear sisters and brothers.
I just want you to know I love you all. More importantly, God Loves You!!! You are His creation. May his blessings surround you and pour out onto you and your loved ones. May you be granted prosperity, good health, healing where it is needed, and joy in life.
I will leave you with this.
Psalm 136 1-26
God's Love is Eternal
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.
His love is eternal.
2 Give thanks tothe God of gods.
His love is eternal.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
His love is eternal.
4 He alone does great wonders.
His love is eternal.
5 He made the heavens skillfully.
His love is eternal.
6 He spread the land on the waters.
His love is eternal.
7 He made the great lights:
His love is eternal.
8 the sun to rule by day,
His love is eternal.
9 the moon and stars to rule by night.
His love is eternal.
10 He struck the firstborn of the Egyptians
His love is eternal.
11 and brought Israel out from among them
His love is eternal.
12 with a strong hand and outstretched arm.
His love is eternal.
13 He divided the Red Sea
His love is eternal.
14 and led Israel through,
His love is eternal.
15 but hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.
His love is eternal.
16 He led His people in the wilderness.
His love is eternal.
17 He struck down great kings
His love is eternal.
18 and slaughtered famous kings--
His love is eternal.
19 Sihon king of Amorites
His love is eternal.
20 and Og king of Bashan--
His love is eternal.
21 and gave their land as an inheritance,
His love is eternal.
22 and inheritance to Israel His servant.
His love is eternal.
23 He remembered us in our humiliation
His love is eternal.
24 and rescued us from our foes.
His love is eternal.
25 He gives good to every creature.
His love is eternal.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven!
His love is eternal.
May our love be as His, eternal for all, even our enemies, may we learn to forgive those who need forgiving and love our enemies.

Congratulations on your awards, and what a nice idea to just pass them on.

In my mind, an award is something that should be given to someone because you think there blog is special or you've been touched by them in some way--not something that has to be earned by following the rules.

In the beginning I did try to follow the rules, but no more. And personally, I'd rather not get an award than get one with rules, because to me that isn't really an award at all. It's more like a chain letter of sorts, which I hate and usually break. LOL
