FAITH

On the way home from the Catalyst Conference tonight I was hit with a revelation. A man a few days ago talked of how bad of shape our country is in, how are we going to recover, that it was up to the citizens to do a major part, but the government was needed to pick up the rest, but how was it going to happen and blah, blah, blah.

Well it hit me tonight, we are to be careful of wolves in sheep's clothing. What if a person talks negative and makes things look bleaker than they really are to make those that supposedly cause it look even worse, and then starts showing how things are better, when they weren't that bad to begin with, to make themselves look good? Did you catch all that. :)

For instance; John just made of a mess of this business, with the help of his cronies. It's up to us to fix it and make changes. But it's such a mess, I'm not sure we are going to be able to fix things. But, the business isn't in that big of a mess, Joe blow knows that, but painted an ugly picture. Then miraculously things turn around and Joe blow comes out smelling like a rose.

So the messages last night and tonight, Faith; God; Jesus; humbled; forward; and positive. We must believe in our Father. He will lead us, provide for us, care for us, etc. We must move forward, keep hope and faith, and press forward. Don't live in the past. MOVE FORWARD IN FAITH! We can't listen to everything we hear.

God is moving and is doing great things. I'm believing this year is going to be a great year. Is He going to hand us some rough times. Probably, but it's to bring us closer to Him. When you are walking on that water, KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS!!!

One more thing. That garbage heap behind you that you keep feeding off of. Get rid of it. It's not good. It's negative, rotten, stinky. You don't need it. Look forward, not behind, leave the past behind you. Repent for your sins, let them go, live in Faith Hope and Love!!!

God loves us all! He's a loving, forgiving God. Hold on to that. Turn to Him in times of need, in times of trouble. All you have to do is ASK. Pastor tonight said something good; "God only works on our expectations." What are you expecting in life?
