Luke 6:38

This devotional comes from "God's Way: Day by Day by: Charles Stanley"

"Give and it will be given to you." Luke 6:38

"Be quick to serve others. In giving, you will receive. There's an old but
true phrase. 'To make a friend, be a friend.' To give acceptance to others is to
recieve acceptance. To widen your circle of friends to include others is to be
included in the broader cirlces of their lives. Jesus taught, "Give, and it will
be given to you." When you give to others a sense of belonging, you feel a
greater sense of belonging."

Nothing else is needed to be said for this one, other than this is a great devotional that is so very true. Giving is caring. ;) Have a beautiful week all my wonderful friends.

So true. And sometimes, you don't need to be able to read those phrases because GOD lets you learn from your circumstances and you will be given wisdom to create your own phrases that GOD alone may be glorified because of the wisdom HE has given.

Nonetheless, I LOVE Charles Stanley! We, Christians, unite for the greater glory of GOD!

And sometimes, in giving, you sacrifice a great deal but GOD sees everything. GOD sees your faithfulness and friendship. Thank you, my dear friend. This post just reminded me of how good it is to have a real friend in you.

Now I'm changing the quote, "What you give is what you get." hehehe! Or as it is written, what you sow is what you reap. Never stop giving. I know you have been blessed with the heart of giving by our Almighty GOD.

Hey Tammy, How are you? I find myself in my vehicle a lot for work. Chuck is on Family Life Radio at 11 AM. I've been listening to him for about 10 years. He's great. Have a spectacular week!

Very true hon. Charles Stanley is awesome. He never ceases to amaze me. I truly have learned a lot from him, and know that I will continue to. His son Andy is good as well. It's great that he is following in his dad's foot steps. I could only imagine growing up with a parent of such knowledge and a love for Christ.

You are so sweet. Well, I'm just as lucky to have a real friend in you as well. Thank You. Your quote is so very true. Good one to always be reminded of.

Hi Chris, How are you doing? I am doing great! Tired, but it's a good tired. Yes, Charles does a lot of programs. We watch him on the Family Channel and I listen to his pod casts. I was trying to listen to Andy's as well, but wasn't able to keep up with them all. I need to re-assess the podcast and prioritize them better. We also have many of his books. What a man! You have a great week as well, and thank you!
