Sacrifice

John 3:16 (NKJV)

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begottn Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

How many of us would give ourselves for someone else. How many of us would sacrifice our only child for someone else, let alone the whole world.

That is how much He loves us. He gave His only Son for us! Jesus died a terrible death, to save us from our sins. Those are the ultimate sacrifices.

This has been on my mind, and I know that I want to not committ any sins. When I do, I think of the sacrifice of our Father and His Son. It hurts. I ask myself, why? Why do I continue to sin? My sin, is my tongue. My sin is talking about the problems I worry about with my family. I love them like none other, but let frustration creep in and take over.

I made a promise to God last night that I will not do that any more. I know that it can be done. I made a vow to walk in Faith, forward looking, with a positive attitude, to soften my tongue, to be more loving, to hold on to hope no matter the situation.

You know what He did? He lifted my heavy heart, took my hand and said, "Do not fret my child, do not worry. For there are times when I bring hard times to those who have not come to me yet. You must be patient and believe that I will not give them more than they can handle. They are in my hands. Have I ever forsaken you?" Of course my answer was no. God has always been good to me.

This is a brand new year! A new beginning! A new year to mend bridges, walk upright in the Lord and show the world His great beauty, love, kindness, graciousness, strength...shine with the Light of the Lord, speak with a gentle tongue that will draw people to Him. Thank you Dear Daddy for your forgiveness. Thank you for opening my soul to a new life! Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for being a faithful, honest God that has never changed, never strayed, never left us. You are an Almighty, Alpha & Omega! Amen!

First of all, Congratulations to your sister-in-law. The angels are rejoicing over one saved soul.
Praise God for your overflowing victories and blessings.
Great is the Lord and most worthy to be praise!

Thank you grace. Yes, the angels do sing for every soul saved. It's always great to hear when people do. We had 20 youths that gave themselves to the Lord this past Friday night! That was a glorious moment. Praise God!
