Two Mom's 20 lbs.

Well, this week didn't go so well. I started out on the right foot, but ended up doing poorly. I can tell you some things that shouldn't be done. Don't give into temptation. It does one absolutely no good. Then there is the guilt factor afterwards to deal with. Make sure you have plenty of healthy foods around to eat. When you don't keep your home stocked properly, then it is easy to fall off the band wagon.

Having company does not give you permission to stuff yourself. Try to stick with your normal eating habits. My parents came to visit, so I was determined to make them a healthy meal, as they are suppose to be very careful with what they eat. Well, after not eating much for a few days before hand, I pigged out. Needless to say, my body was hating me, and I was not liking myself too well. It's no fun, it feels miserable, and it does absolutely no good.

But with that said, do not beat yourself up and get all depressed over it. Instead, get back on track and keep on going. Move forward! So we let ourselves take a step back once in awhile. As long as we don't keep letting it happen, we are okay. The important thing is to correct that back slide and put your next foot forward and then the next one and so on.

So water in take has still been good. Only had a couple of diet soda's, which is very good for me after drinking a minimum of two every day. Food was not so good, but am back on track!!! Exercise, been getting plenty of that, believe me.

Plan to get back to doing what my original plan of attack was and hopefully lose some more. This week, stayed the same, maybe even gained a little. :( But that's okay. It's not the end of the world. Have to keep a positive attitude in order to succeed.

Hope all the rest of you are having great success!

Sounds like some good advice. It is not easy, is it?

No it's not by any means. I've been battling being over weight since a very young age. But, am not one to give up. ;)
