Today's Verse

Be still

in the presence of the Lord

and wait patiently

for Him to act.

Psalm 37:7

I know this is one that I need to remember. There are times I find myself wanting to know the answer right now, or grow impatient when I don't hear his voice, or when my prayers aren't answered in the time I expect them to be. But...I have gotten much better about this; as I've learned when we become impatient, we're pushing Him out. Getting in a habit of reminding ourselves that it's on His time saves us from heartache. He has our lives planned out for us.
