Help!

I almost forgot. Son-in-law to be asked if I knew of a good New Years blacke-eyed-pea recipe. I don't know of one. But I'm betting someone out there knows of one or more. Turns out his manager ordered a bunch of black-eyed-peas to put on display at the grocery outlet he works at. He said they do not normally move very fast, so I told him I could probably find good people here willing to help out. We talked about putting out a recipe card with the display to hopefully help them sell. Thanks a bunch. I love you all!

1 jalapeno chile, seeded and minced

1 Pour the water into a slow cooker, add the bouillon cube, and stir to dissolve. Combine the black-eyed peas, onion, garlic, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, ham, bacon, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, and pepper; stir to blend. Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours until the beans are tender.

I haven't tried this yet. You can look at the ingredients and maybe try it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This actually sounds like it might be good. To be perfectly honest, I've never even tried them. Pretty sad, huh?
